We were unable to make it to Oban due to road closures caused by flooding. We called and told them the issue and were forced to stop closer to Glasgow for the night. Failte denied us a refund. If I ever make it to Oban in the future I will surely not stay at Failte B&B.

Denied refund

Everything was perfect from the Host to the little "treat" by the bedside, from the cleanliness to the view, from the rich breakfast display to the smallest detail in the bedrooms. We loved it and if ever we are at that part of the world we will stay at Failte B&B again. Thank you!!

All that a B&B should be like!!!

This BNB is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is amazing. Thomas went above and beyond to help us when we were having car troubles and suggested places to go visit and to eat. Oban is a great town and we enjoyed ourselves. The view of the town is really great.

Super clean and cozy BNB

Was received by Thomas, who helped me with my luggage. The room is space and with a great view. Got a bottle of fresh water and a little bottle of milk, so I could make me a “nice-cup-of-tea”, as I needed to rest after many hours of travel. Breakfast this morning was plentiful and with a big variety to chose from. Thomas is the perfect host, and I give him my highest recommendations.

Great central B&B place in Oban

We were on a cycling tour in Scotland and Thomas gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived after a wet days cycling. He showed us where we could securely store our bikes and after showing us to our room offered to bring us tea and shortbread (a really lovely touch that I have never experienced before in other B&Bs). He made sure we had everything we needed , the room was very comfortable (not huge) and had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing, homemade yogurt, granola and cereals and fruit etc, sliced meats and cheese followed by a freshly cooked breakfast which was delicious.  Can't recommend this B&B highly enough. We didn't meet Isabel but thank you both for a lovely stay. 

A comfortable stay with a warm welcome.

Fialtè B&B exceeded our expectations in every way. The hosts paid attention to detail, and every amenity was provided with the highest quality. Nothing was forgotten. Thomas was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. His suggestions as to restaurants, directions, etc., were 'spot on'. The location was convenient. Parking was available at the property. The room was very comfortable in every way. And breakfast was also very good. I cannot think of a negative comment to make about this property or our visit. We enjoyed our stay and will try to stop at Failtè if we return to Oban.

An exceptional B&B for your stay in Oban

I stayed here for 1 night as a solo traveller, I received such a warm welcome upon arrival although I had a welcome tray in room was asked if I wanted a pot of tea & shortbread. My room was divine lovely & clean & had a lovely window seat which I loved. The owners were friendly & kind, breakfast selection & quality was amazing. This felt like a home from home kind of place, amazing hospitality, highly recommend.

Excellent b&b

I stayed four nights in early September 2022.  Everything about my stay was comfortable and pleasant, breakfast each day was delicious and brimming with options, but most importantly, Thomas' rather formal yet friendly style of hospitality made my experience extra enjoyable.  I would/will absolutely stay at Failte again when in Oban.

Top-notch hospitality

Failte has excellent location with easy access to the town center but far away enough to be quiet and with lovely views over the bay. Thomas attention to detail is incredible and means that every little thing you might want or need is right there at your fingertips.The breakfast is equally scrumptious and ample - I will happily recommend this little gem to anyone!

The best B+B we have stayed in!

Good room, very good bed, excellent breakfast and a very convenient location for visiting Oban.

Thomas is the perfect host. We run a Guest house ourselves, and we cant think of anything that we would do better.
