Margo is wonderful.  Her welcome and tour with tips about places to go was great and made us feel right at home. The rooms were comfortable and she is close to town.  Breakfast was great.  Highly recommend staying here for your trip.

Wonderful Host, Lovely Home

Margo’s warm and friendly welcome was a good start to our one night stay. Rooms were bright and cheery and spotlessly clean. Bathroom small but perfect and lovely towels! The carafe of wine served in the conservatory was a really nice touch, and the use of the conservatory and separate sitting room is an added bonus. Breakfast was the best we had on our tour round Scotland, everything freshly prepared and beautifully presented.would certainly stay again but for longer next time. 

Up with the best

Beautiful spotlessly clean guesthouse. Great location 5 minute drive into Oban. Great choice of eating places nearby including Falls of Laura hotel across the road. Lovely food great prices......last but not least was how our stay was made so enjoyable by Margo who looked after us and made our visit so special..thanks Margo..we will return...😊

"Absolute gem of a place"

From the welcome glass of wine to the delicious cooked-to-order breakfast, our stay at Grove House was delightful!  Gluten-free was no problem!  The property is spotless, well-supplied and extremely comfortable, and the warm welcome and friendly service throughout our short stay could not have been better.  
We will be back!

A perfect stay!

We have stayed at Grove House twice before and this time with Margo. What a beautiful lady and so welcoming without being overbearing. As previous visits the room was very clean and spacious. 
Breakfast was superb and cooked to perfection. 
Not much more to say, other than book in!!!!

New owners...Brilliant

From the moment we stepped over the threshold of this charming B&B we knew our short stay on the way to Isle of Skye was going to be enjoyable.  The place is immaculate, beautifully appointed and relaxing.  It was like being at home.  Margo is a gracious host and cooks a bountiful, delicious Scottish breakfast. She pointed us to a great family restaurant across the street, and a tip from her notebook sent us for a lovely stop at Stalker Castle nearby on our way up to Portree.  Our girls 6 and 8 gave our stay a thumbs up!

On Point in Oban

Warm hostess. Comfortable rooms. Lovely breakfast. Dinner options close by. A respite from busy Oban. Very glad to find this place on a stopover on a long drive to Isle of Skye. I would highly recommend

Just Right

We had a pleasant stay at Grove House.
The hosts were very welcoming and nice and the room was big, clean and very comfortable!
The breakfasts were cooked and very tasty, that allowed us to have a taste of Scotland! 

Perfect stay!

Only spent one night but it was just lovely. Great room, with good facilities. The host was just lovely and friendly and served up a wonderful breakfast. American visitors - do try the haggis with breakfast! Plenty of room for parking the car.

Very friendly and welcoming guest house

Fantastic guest house, very warm welcome. There is a lovely breakfast choice and cooked/presented like a top restaurant. Ideal situated for visiting Oban, or as a base for the area. There is ample parking off road and our room was very clean and comfy. Highly deserved rating : )
