Great stay. Such a relaxed, comfortable and friendly place to stay.  Perfect breakfasts, clean comfortable rooms. Good location. 
Not the first time we have stayed here, and it’s wonderful every time. Looking forward to trying the chalets next time.

Great!

We had a wonderful time at Westrow Lodge. The location was great, equidistant between Kirkwall and Stromness. Our room was spacious, comfortable, with a beautiful en-suite bathroom, and the views were spectacular. Kathy had thought of everything to make our stay special, even providing the little things we might have forgotten!  The breakfasts were amazing! Well done and many thanks.

Fabulous place to stay

After 3 years, we returned to Orkney and Westrow Lodge for another fantastic vacation.  Our room was spacious, the king-sized bed comfy, there was lots of closet space, and the ensuite bathroom modern and well-equipped.  The adjacent lounge for guests offered many resources including computer, sightseeing info, hot beverage station, picnic supplies, and snacks.  There is a lovely view from the Lodge and it has easy access to both Kirkwall and Stromness.  Kathy's breakfasts were delicious and delightful.  The owners, Kathy and Keith manage the B&B professionally and with great care to detail and the comfort of their guests.  Well done and many thanks!

Comfortable, Peaceful, Well Located

We stayed at Westrow Lodge for 5 nights over the long weekend of the Orkney Folk Festival. We cycled and drove around Mainland. Westrow is  well positioned as a base for exploring and it was a pleasure to return each night to a comfortable bed in a beautiful house where the temperature is just right, the breakfast excellent and the welcome very warm. Kathy and Keith gave great suggestions for outings and restaurants. The Hoy ferry is close by- that’s a plan for our next visit! 

Superb base to explore Orkney 

We enjoyed an outstanding week at Westrow Lodge B&B. The setting of the Lodge is beautiful with glorious views.  Our room was spacious with a super king bed, a well equipped bathroom and access to a guest lounge for our convenience.  The breakfasts were varied, appetising and beautifully presented.  Kathy and Keith are friendly and thoughtful Orcadian hosts with exceptional knowledge of all that the islands have to offer.  We would highly recommend Westrow Lodge and will definitely stay there if we visit Orkney in the future.

A lovely time at Westrow Lodge

Kathy and Keith were perfect hosts at the Westrow Lodge. Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing.

The lodge is close enough to Kirkwall for eating and drinking whilst offering a quiet retreat for relaxing. Me and my wife very much enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing Getaway

The warmth you recieved from the moment you arrived Kathy was on the Porch ready to welcome us to her Home. Loverly clean warm great breakfast. We will definitely be staying again. What more can I say.

Fabulous B&B, Kathy is an excellent host who anticipates a guests needs at every turn. A lovely welcome to Orkney and full of recommendations and information. Breakfast was exceptional and the choices fantastic. Extra surprise was the jacuzzi bath that made our stay even more special.
The location is also great for exploring all parts of the Main Island.

Stayed with Kathy & Keith in mid early august while visiting my father who still lives in Orkney.
Admired this house when i first saw it way back in the early 90s when visiting my father.
Very warm welcome by the owners. 
My brother & partner were in one room & myself & my wife in the other.
We had the complete top floor of the house to ourselves. 2 very large rooms with beautiful en-suites with jacuzzi bath with shower above, loads of hot water. we had the large double room with the biggest & comfiest bed Ive ever slept in!
The views from the window are stunning but good blackout curtains kept the early morning sunrise at bay.
The "landing" area is a large sitting area with views over Scapa flow. seating for 5 people, fridge.cofee table & Mac computer free to use if you want to browse.
Wifi was very good around the property.
Breakfast was very good, a request sheet left every afternoon when the rooms are cleaned, full breakfast, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs or smoked salmon bagels were all on offer as well as more toast & fruit juice than you could ever need.
cereals also available.
Large parking area outside. lovely garden.
15 mins drive to Stromness & 20 to Kirkwall.
Will definitely stay at Westrow again.

Lovely stay in Orkney, Beautiful place & rooms are huge, Fantastic welcome & breakfast was superb.

Stayed at Westrow lodge for 5 nights with 2 children age 5 and 9.  Amazing hospitality from Kathy and Keith.  Great location between Stromness and Kirkwall, and the views were amazing.  The family and I will definitely return.
