Vernon was the best host ever. Before we even parked the car he had my daughter up in the ballet school with 2 lovely girls brook and darcie. They found her a dress tights and ballet shoes and did her nails and makeup and Vernon  gave her a ballet lesson. Later In the evening we popped back and again Vernon took time out from relaxing watching the football to get both   my daughter and son( who was adamant he wasn't joining in) to do some ballet. 
My daughter loved Vernon and wished we could live there and my son came down to tell his dad that he had the best time and wanted to do it again. 
Apartment was great fully equipped for family's great range of films toys and outside enclosed play area. Vernon even offered us his kayak. What a fabulous place to stay and such a lovely host. Could not fault it. Close to seaside and all attractions

Would highly recommend this place.  Welcoming host and would especially recommend it to families with young children.  Lovely clean rooms and plenty of toys and activities for children. There is also a lovely dance studio with amazing costumes etc for kids to dress up. Very welcoming and friendly host.  Lovely stay

Fabulous and fun stay

Well what can I say this place is amazing a ballet room upstairs for kids to explore with this great host Vernon who couldn't do enoght for you so friendly and the place is so clean and tidy 
And also parking is great will always stay their again thanks so much Vermont kids really enjoyed it

My wife and I arrived slightly early outside the accommodation, Vernon the owner heard us outside and came out to meet us. Explained that the flat was ready and we could check in. He also showed us around upstairs where there is a children's dance school. There is a kitchen up stairs that is open to 3 separated flats all with there own private garden and bathroom area. The room although not large was ample for our 2 day stay needs, and was also clean and comfortable. This is 5 minutes walk to the centre and 10 to the rail station. There is also ample on road parking. We would have no problem staying here again.

Vernon explained how the flats contribute to the dance school and the outfits , children staying are also allowed in.

Stayed in self contained flat earlier this month. Kitchen facilities v basic - fridge and microwave. Vernon, proprietor, very helpful indeed and responded quickly to all queries. He couldn’t have done more for us and certainly went the extra mile for us on more than one occasion. 

Great stay

back from an overnight stay, a very warm welcome by vernon and made it magical for my daughter showing her around the ballet room. Would recommend for families looking for an overnight stay with a short walk to the pier and restaurants

Perfect location

One night stay. Quirky house and welcoming owner who is passionate about ballet. Comfortable clean beds although he did say our room was taken due to technology failure? Shared bathroom and kitchen, toys and books for kids. No invoice given either.

Maybe not for everyone 

The house & location was lovely, our room was nice, comfortable and clean too, however I found the owner rather strange,  intrusive and pushy. He traps you in conversation all about him and his famous friends or his 9 cars and bunch of houses. He has zero regard for your time or plans and will hold you back or delay you as he likes and then look at you funny when you start getting stern about it. Odd odd odd. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Never again. The house is great, the owner is not.

We booked the place, called the owner who could not talk for long and said we haven't managed to book, so we did not go!   to find in a few days we were charged anyway. It is still not sorted.

We are looking to be refunded

Very clean bedroom just not our cup of tea we prefer our own space and not feeling hassled into doing things. 
Great as somewhere to just lay your head for a night but no longer without en suite facilities.
