Excellent stay in this hotel easy walking to beach and  Main Street harbor just around corner . Our room very clean plenty of coffee and tea available no problem with refills. though bathroom a bit small this did not distract from a wonderful stay the owner very good could not do enough for you . Breakfast very good choice of cooked or fruit and  cereal also as much toast as you can eat. Would recommend this hotel

November stay

lovely clean room, good quality bedding and towels, en-suite shower room a bit tight but sea view room compensated for that, plenty of tea/coffee available, breakfast beautifully presented and hot, good choice of cold food as well, the only thing that was annoying was the traffic noise at night it seemed like it never stopped but not the fault of the hotel, would definitely stay again.

Our stay was very satisfactory, lovely hotel with a very nice welcome. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice. Close to the beach & town centre. Bed was comfortable, parking available but a little tight in places

Torland Hotel

Stayed at the Torland Hotel for 5 nights for our 40th wedding anniversary, the hotel was clean,everything you needed,the staff were friendly nothing was too much trouble,breakfast was lovely every morning, would stay here again

Anniversary break

Absolutely spotlessly clean , very comfortable bed's,   good quality bedding and towels,   could do with either black out blinds / curtains as very bright in our room around 530 / 6ish making any more sleep impossible. 
Breakfast very good , served hot , plenty of choice , unlimited coffee,  tea , juices and toast .
Very peaceful and quiet house which was perfect for sleeping,  felt safe which was very important as travelling on my own with my granddaughter. 
Only complaint I have is the breakfast situation,  which is a shame because I really hoped to return here with my husband for a few day's on our own but now wouldn't. 
All guest's are asked which time slot they'd like for breakfast,  we chose 930 as suited us best , we were there for 5 days and nights,  first 3 mornings were fine , until more guest's turned up and insisted on sitting together at breakfast and was also told by the host that they like to sit and chat after their meal .
So we ( along with other's were asked if we minded moving our slots to a different time to accommodate them ! 
We were offered refreshments in the lounge while we waited,  but totally unacceptable to give preferential treatment to other guest's,  we all paid the same to stay there,  should all be treated the same ! 
Our slot was 930 , we waited in the lounge with two other guests until 10 o'clock while the other guest's had a leisurely breakfast and chat afterwards,  keeping other's waiting , this obviously put our day back , the two other guest's stated they felt second best as also asked to wait until these guest's had finished their breakfast. 
The host was polite about the situation and as stated offered refreshments, but should never put some guest's before other's just to please them .

Lovely place Shame about breakfast situation 

From arrival to check out everything was perfect. The gentlemen that checked us in, we did not get his name. He was very friendly and helpful. Also served us both mornings at breakfast time and also checked us out. Couldn’t fault him.

Our room was very clean, bed was comfortable, brand new bathroom suite, plenty of tea/ coffee provided in the room.

We paid that little extra to have sea view. As it was a birthday treat for me.

We enjoyed our stay and we would definitely recommend people to stay there.

My only negative comment I would say have to say about the place was the curtains were old fashioned and didn’t go with the rest of the decor and didn’t fit the window properly, which let a lot of light in. But this is only a tiny issue and would not stop me from returning and staying again.

Excellent stay

The hotel is minutes from sea front. Rooms beautiful and spotless fantastic view of the sea.  Breakfast was plentiful and hot. A great warm welcome from Igor. Nothing was too much trouble. Free car park on site. Close to all attractions and shops highly recommend.

Fantastic hotel great service good value for money

Stayed here for 3 nights. Everything excellent. Rooms had everything you needed and were very clean. Lovely shower with good pressure and plenty of hot water. Quite a lot of stairs to climb but they do have a room downstairs that my parents had which is ideal if you have any mobility problems this room also has a outside decking area. Good breakfast and great location virtually on the seafront. Good tasty breakfast with a lovely waitress when nothing was too much trouble.

First class stay

Myself and my partner took my mam for a weeks break and booked the easy access room.. We were very impressed with the access from outside which was only 2 steps up onto lovely, private decking with an outside seating area.

The access door lead into our room with another door which lead pretty much straight into the dining room.. Great for my mother who has mobility problems..

Everywhere was clean and fresh and the breakfast and choice was exceptional.
We will definetly be booking there again and would recommend to friends. 

The staff were helpful and the owner was so polite and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Excellent hotel

This hotel is literally across the road from the sea front . The staff were amazing and the rooms were clean . It was my husbands birthday and also my brother in laws birthday who we went with. We came back from a day out and had a beautiful card and wine from the staff for his birthday. The breakfast was great . You have the choice of full english or continental.  I totally recommend this hotel right opposite the sea front. The cost of this hotel was so reasonable compaired it was school holidays and what we received for the price was outstanding. Definitely will be coming back here in the future.
