This was the best few days we've ever had away it was a shame it was only 2 nights. Fantastic accommodation and fantastic location. We will definitely be back on a regualr basis. Would recommend 110% to anyone.

Fantastic Place

What a fantastic week, we really didnt want to leave.  Paul and Miranda made our stay really special. They are such a lovely couple, they provided fantastic service and constant laughs.  The breakfast is second to none and the rooms are perfect. A few feet from the beach and a 10 minute walk to town, you couldnt ask for any more.  Also not forgetting the bar across the road The  Embassy Tavern with Mel, Ann and co made us feel like we'd been there for years...cant wait to visit again...love and thanks to all will be in touch Karen and Gary

We didn't want to leave!!

My wife and I are coming to the end of a lovely stay at The Culverden Guest House in Paignton. Paul gave us a lovely welcome and our room was clean, tidy, and comfortable.
We decided to make our own arrangements for breakfast but I have to say that the dining room looked great and other people staying told us that the food was really good. 
The coffee and tea was well stocked with biscuits that were continually topped up (bonus !). 
The bathroom was clean and did the job.
This was a really nice stay and the Guest House was perfectly located near to my Sister who lives close by. For those net rested in Paignton itself, the Guest House is near a nice beach and within easy walking distance of the Town Centre.
We will definitely come back on future visits to Paignton. Very happy to recommend. 

A lovely friendly clean guest house.

Having never visited this area before, we were made to feel at home the moment we stepped through the door. Paul and Miranda are great hosts and a credit to their profession. The breakfasts were of high quality, the rooms immaculate which means we will be back again!

Very friendly reception on arrival and was met with an immaculate room with good facilities. The breakfasts were imagainative , well presented and superb value for money.

Location was good and an easy fifteen minute stroll into the town centre; local information and brochures were readily available from the owners with information also left in the room.

Recommended for a pleasant , relaxing stay.
