Handy location, friendly hosts, good breakfast. Our room was pretty cramped and the bathroom uncomfortable so. The breakfast room cannot accommodate all guests. The house would benefit from refurbishment. 

Rather old-fashioned

Great place , lovely people and a really good breakfast what's not to love , whenever I'm in penrith This is my go to place and it's handy for town and spoons is round the corner , comfortable beds and good showers and a good price I've stay in so many place in penrith but this place suits me down to the ground 

What's not to love 

Excellent place, clean, friendly, comfy bed excellent breakfast.
Could fault the place or the hosts. Room was clean and had everything we needed including our own bathroom. 
Parking was free too, which I didn’t know previously to arriving. Bonus 
Very helpful and friendly owners.
Breakfast was big, but delicious.
Didn’t finish it but I wish I had

Excellent place, service, breakfast and bed

Lovely guest house. Location within walking distance to town, bus stop, train station. 
Deepa very accommodating to drop our bags early.
Breakfast hit the mark.
Wifi very quick.
We would stay here again.
We had loft twin room and has shower and toilet. Very clean.

Comfortable and lovely guest house

Couldn't fault our stay here or the friendly and kind hosts. Three of us stayed over two nights and had a lovely family room with en suite. There is parking on the street right in front with a permit and a couple of spaces round the back. Our room was really clean and tidy with traditional and tasteful decorating and furnishings. Comfortable beds, good pressure for the shower with a good sized cubicle, kettle and assortment of drinks, decent sized TV with a good range of channels and good WiFi. 
The breakfast was generous and cooked well, with our hosts checking beforehand what we liked and making adjustments as necessary. Nice cosy breakfast room with good sized tables and again, excellent attention and service. Very friendly atmosphere with other guests exchanging greetings and conversation.  
Short walk to the town of Penrith, easy to get to a wide range of shops.
We would definitely stay again.

Friendly and welcoming

Mismatched style, small rooms, very small en-suite but functional-ish. Ok breakfast. If you can get a double for £60 a night you would be happy but don’t pay more. Some of the other b and b’s on the street look a bit nicer - there’s a travel lodge near by that would have better facilities.

Mid- range-ish, clean-ish, welcoming- ish.

We arrived early and were welcomed by the owners. We were offered and accepted an upgraded room. The guest house is clean and tidy and located in a good position. The staff could not do enough for us and served lovely cooked breakfasts during our stay. A good guest house beats a hotel all day when you feel so comfortable and relaxed around kind and courteous owners.

Cracking little guest house

My wife and I only stayed for one night and were very well catered for by Deeper and Bandula.
A good welcome on arrival, a pot of tea was presented on arrival,along with home made flat jacks,very tasteful. We were shown to our room No1,small but okay for a stopover,the car was safely parked in the back yard for the night and we went into town,a 10min walk for dinner.
Breakfast was a huge feast of a meal,everything that a breakfast should be,and more.
A very pleasant stay and one that we will be returning to.

A lovely stop over.

Very nice place ,stayed 3 nights with my family and friends . Hospitality was excellent. Friendly staff . It was very clean and beautiful country side . Enjoyed staying and  visiting the area , definitely stay at  Tynedale Guest House and again I  recommend staying there.

Brilliant place

We stayed here for one night while on holiday stopping on the way, we had a lovely welcome and the owner couldn’t do enough for us so lovely and welcoming. The bed was very comfy and the breakfast was very yummy. Highly recommend will stay here again.
