Family 18th meal. 19 booked, 18 turned up yet they have the audacity to keep the £10 for a no show due to travel issues with weather (snow) Travelled from Dundee and I certainly won't be back. Food average, service OK but to spend the amount we did in total it's an experience to be stuffed for £10 deposit.. Needless to say I will not be back. Not the cherry on the cake! 

Deposit farce 

Family celebration for sons birthday. Had a lovely meal in what were beautiful surroundings. Biscoff cheesecake and peanut butter ice cream were out of this world.  Would definitely recommend for a lovely family meal 

Lovely family meal 

We arrived on a cold night and was given a table outside .Not much help to rectify the situation
We were a party of 6, The food was extremely slow to arrive and when it did it wasn’t great . How can a chef serve under cooked chips?
Steak ordered medium-well, arrived raw with blood oozing all over the plate.  Steak was taken back and new steak ordered by the time it returned to the table the rest of the party had finished their meal.

Rubbish food, rubbish cocktails, rude manager, poor service. No apology and not prepared to provide a discount based on the poorly cooked food.

Wouldn’t recommend, wouldn’t return.  There are better places to spend your money. Avoid here is my recommendation 

Avoid this place….disappointing is an understatement!

Extensive menu and probably something to suit everyone, however, the steak pie was really nice but the vegetables were under cooked and very hard. Macaroni was excellent as was the Hunters Chicken, thought it strange to have the Haggis as balls rather than with the Chicken. Waiting staff could have been more welcoming and attentive and the sudden presentation of our bill was surprising as we were not ready to leave, nor finished our drinks. Missed opportunity i feel....      

Servers could do more to promote the establishment

They were really busy but managed to get us a table for six for an early dinner.  Food absolutely loved by all.  Everything just great.  Ambient surroundings, lovely prompt and professional service and delicious food.  Top marks all round

Excellent!   

This used to be a traditional coaching inn & local pub. It’s now ‘renovated’ into a soulless venue. We were seated looking into some bizarre extension banqueting area.  Visited on a wet night & it wasn’t warm inside - I kept  my scarf on! As is often the case the menu was (too) wide & varied - food was adequate, no more; I bet the burger was not homemade it was very poor quality. White wine was not properly chilled & was cheap tasting. Won’t be back.

Needs coaching!

I like the Cherrybank Inn - lovely staff, hard working, good food choices and like the in/out door eating, but when a ruddy barking dog goes off at every opportunity and a snowflake owner doesn't heel the damned thing, then any enjoyment is gone.  I like dogs and having had a Staffie in the past who was well trained  - but if he had barked himself inside out, I would have considered those around me and put him in the car.  So I won't be going back for dinner any time in the future if the whole sensory experience of dining out is a flipping barking dog whose owner can't just tell the damned thing to shut it.  Sorry, being a keyboard warrior, but dogs perhaps could be allowed only in the outdoor area.....

When dogs rule the roost

Ordered salmon salads. Menu did not say it was smoked salmon rather than a steak. Am allergic to smoked. Waitress appeared disinterested and did not offer an alternative. Couldn't have a sweet as kitchens closed 2pm. We arrived at 1.30. If we'd been told that, could have ordered it earlier. Very disappointed, especially as I recommended we go there.

Disappointing lunch

We were again disappointed with the food here for the 3rd time ..portions are really small , Macaronie cheese was dried up and tasteless, also very small . as was fish & chips . There are so many other pubs / restaurants in Perth  serving better food at reasonable prices .won't be back .

Small portions , and very average food.

Went out for a family meal and the meal itself was tasty however toilet/baby changing facilities were filthy. Took my 9 week old baby in to change her nappy and the baby changing table was squashed in a small toilet area. The changing table had faeces, dust and crumbs on it. After telling a member of staff about this, they went inside the toilet area came out and laughed behind the bar with another member of staff.  I think the owner/staff should focus on keeping the amenities of the building clean rather than expanding to allow more customers in. Quantity over quality is clearly more important, unfortunately. 🤷🏽‍♀️
