Such a lovely gem. Helen gave us a warm welcome. Only been here a couple of hours and we have discovered a beautiful room and bathroom, fresh milk and muffins. Helen has booked us in at the local pub for dinner. Nice few hours relaxing before we venture out. Perfick

Just got here

Large comfortable room with comfy beds. Very clean. Complimentary biscuits/cake. Excellent breakfast, loads of choice and high quality. The hosts Peter and Helen are very nice too! Stayed in many B&Bs and the Tasman is definitely top end. Commendable policy on single use plastic.

Excellent B&B

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay. The Tasman is a very warm and welcoming place with lovely hosts and extremely clean facilities. The breakfast was all local produce and was the best breakfast we have had. Would definitely recommend this b&b and is a credit to the owners.

Lovely family owned b&b

Our room was a good size and everything is well thought out, with water and milk in flasks in the fridge (eco-friendly), lovely but unobtrusive fresh flowers in the room and a wide range of coffee, tea and hot chocolate (with delicious buns). The ensuite bathroom was great, with an excellent shower, the bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of wardrobe space, more than enough (accessible) electric sockets and the décor was pleasant and tasteful. Although quite close to the main A170, the room was quiet and we had pleasant rural view. Breakfast was superb, with an excellent range of cereals, jams, juices and delicious coffee. The 'full English' was beautifully cooked and there were vegetarian options too.The hosts are welcoming and friendly and we thought our stay was good value for money as well. Had we stayed longer, I'm sure we would have made good use of the comfortable guest lounge as well. Just a short walk from the Middleton Arms and a few minutes' drive from Pickering, this B&B has a great location. We can't recommend it highly enough and will certainly stay here again if we're in the area.

The Best B&B I've ever stayed in.

We only stayed one night but were made very welcome and given a good sized room with a private bathroom - also a decent size. There is a nice guest lounge and guests receive a key to get in and out as they please. Private off road parking is available. We had a good choice for breakfast which was all prepared very nicely. Lots of nice touches like a fridge on the landing with fresh milk for tea etc.

Very pleasant and comfortable stay

What a find. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was first class very clean. The extra little touches made it extra special. The little cakes in the room every day were a lovely touch and the fresh milk and spring water in the fridge. The breakfasts were first class too. Freshly cooked and very tasty. Cannot fault anything and I would recommend to anyone.

It's an lovely B&B with two beautiful and wonderful hosts, Helen and Peter. If you need any help or advice just ask them and you will get great ideas where to go and what to do around there. This is definitely a great place to stay for your holiday. Just try and enjoy your time.

Very awesome B&B in the Yorkshire Dale's

Wow!  What a beautiful B & B.  Peter and Helen are fabulous hosts and made us feel welcome straight away, nothing was too much trouble. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the full English was cooked to perfection, the coffee was very nice too.
The bedroom and en suite were spacious and very clean. It was a delight to stay in  such a well kept property.  We will have no hesitation in returning.

Fantastic stay

The breakfast are cooked perfectly and the choice of food is great. The Fresh coffee and warm croissants was fab. Helen and Peter have a lovely property and give a warm welcome. They will also contact the local pub to reserve a table and thier food is also highly recommended.

Short stay to at a great B&B for our visit to NYMR 

Superb b&b, immaculately clean and very welcoming. A lovely guest sitting room which is always a bonus. If in the area we would definitely stay here again, hopefully for longer, to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire.Excellent breakfast and very good value.
