One of the Best places we've stayed. Great room, excellent customer service and a breakfast you will find hard to beat. Also in great location of a picturesque village with some great bars and restaurants. There are great walks to do with beautiful scenery. Pickering has a relaxing vibe to it.

A great place to stay

Just spent two nights here over Easter and couldn’t fault it.
Very good room (7), lovely breakfast and excellent friendly hosts.
Perfect quiet location for North Yorkshire and a quick walk away from the centre of Pickering.
Would definitely return.

Lovely stay.

Perfect Guest House, cannot fault it! Where to start to praise this little gem in Pickering. Must add straight away that this feels more like a superior hotel than a guest house as it is very private and upmarket.  Excellent location, very short walk to the Market Square.  Good parking, felt very secure. On entering the house, immediately you can see that everything has been given attention to detail and is finished to high quality. The guest sitting room is spacious with comfy, quality sofas and an open fire roaring away to make us feel welcome. Our room (7) we can highly recommend as it is a good size and a very comfy superking bed with quality cushions and pillows. Warm and cosy with heated towel rail in the en-suite bathroom. Luxury soap and towels. There is a nice walk in wardrobe with plenty of room for bags and belongings. The tea and coffee is plentiful with biscuits and chocs. The breakfast next morning was superb, cooked to perfection and you can have whatever you want with a very organised pre-order the night before. We cannot wait to return and wouldn't consider going anywhere else now when staying in Pickering and will be bringing family to book one of the cottages which they also have on site. Highly recommend Bramwood Guesthouse - must be one of the best places to stay in Pickering.

Beautiful place to stay, highly recommend!

We have visited Bramwood Guest house several times over the years, all of our stays have been fabulous. Warm welcome, comfy beds, lovely rooms slap bang in the middle of Pickering. 
The worst part of our visit was having to leave, but at least we get the chance to come back.

Lovely guest house in lovely surroundings with lovely hosts. What more can you ask for?

We booked this B&B on a last minute whim, and we're so glad we did! Our room (no. 6) although small and on the top floor was perfect, spotlessly clean and so warm and cosy. The bed was very comfortable with lovely pillows. Everything was very well laid out and even had a soft glow nightlight in the bathroom so you didn't need to put the main light on in the night 👌. Breakfast was great, although it was tempting to have a full English there were other options that were a lovely change. Our hosts were very nice and we'll definitely come back if we are in the area.

A great choice

Stayed in the twin room. Very comfortable, luxury furnishings and fittings. Spotlessly clean. Lots of storage space.
Large en-suite with bath and shower. Great breakfast menu. 
Hosts were very friendly with good knowledge of the local area
On site and street parking. Excellent value for money. 

Highly Recommended guest house

Perfectly located in a charming street in Pickering.  Our host was friendly and welcoming and we had an excellent stay at this comfortable and cosy B&B. Our room which overlooked the garden, was quiet, well decorated and spotlessly clean.  The super king sized bed was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and there was plenty of choice on the menu. We enjoyed the extra touches of chocolates and bottled water which were left in our room.  Perfectly placed for exploring the North Yorkshire area, we would definitely return and recommend to others.

Lovely B&B, nicely decorated, comfortable room and fabulous power shower. The owners were welcoming and friendly and happy to chat and had good knowledge of the local area. The breakfasts were outstanding, a fab choice and cooked to order.  I would highly recommend a stay at this B&B.

A delightful property, in a great location and run by lovely people. Everything was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and with a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The bed was supremely comfortable and the breakfast was right up there with the best. Many thanks to Richard and Helene and hope to be back to stay with you again soon. 

Fabulous Yorkshire Getaway

I have just returned from a visit to Pickering with a friend. We had a lovely 2 night stay at Bramwood guest house. The room we had (number 1) was 2 singles, and it was spotlessly clean, had comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. You are able to keep items in the fridge in the sitting room, ideal for our wine !!
The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We parked in the long stay car park to begin with, then later in the day we were able to get a parking spot in front of the guesthouse. There is also parking at the rear, although it is a little tight.
Our host was nice and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.
