Popped in for food while staying local, they currently have no kitchen.

Cute but very much an old boys local pub wouldn't recommend it for families.

Very helpful and did try and point us in the direction of food, which we found further down the road.

Do not stay here just awful 😞 cold damp, dirty, water leaking through ceiling into kitchen. Never refunded deposit and very unreasonable to say the least. This is not worth the money that is requester at first though delightful little find but don’t be fooled ,

We spent only one night here but would have loved to have stayed longer.  Currently only offering B and B but the service was friendly, the room was beautiful and there were plenty of recommendations for dinner locally.  We hope to visit again next year post Covid

Excellent service

Very disappointed to have contact the Piddle Inn  to cancel our May booking , which would have occurred during lock down. Having originally paid in full, I of course wanted this to be refunded, as plenty of notice was being given, and it was unprecedented times. 

 I was advised my refund would be made immediately. After 10 days , no refund was received. On calling again,  I was told not to worry I would definitely received my refund. To date , June 25th. I am still waiting for my £285 refund, with no telephone contract possible and the email address bouncing. I am not happy. 

Communication and refund

I stayed for nearly 2 weeks while I was attending a course. I’m disabled and Clive and Arlene couldn’t have been more accommodating. The room was very comfortable and the food was of a very good standard. I had asked for a packed lunch every day which was always great. I can’t recommend the piddle inn highly enough. Also the locals very very welcoming in the bar in the evening.

We visited the Piddle Inn for Sunday lunch while staying in the area. They were only doing meat roast for lunch and we had five vegetarians in our group of six. The stand in Chef was amazing, she rustled up four three bean chilli dishes and a veggie bolognese, the roast pork was fab.



Sunday Lunch

Lovely atmosphere, great home cooked food and a warm welcome by a very good host behind the bar who served us perfectly. We sat by the well stoked fire place, perfect for a cosy evening meal. Can’t fault this place, a very homely, clean and happy country pub. We’ll be visiting again soon no doubt.

We were on standby here in our ambulance covering a local event. The staff were very generous and accommodating providing us with tea/coffee and use of their facilities. They have a great quaint village pub with excellent hospitality to match!

Upon our arrival (I was still walking through the door) I was shouted at to pay!! That’ll be £85 please......I’d never even seen my room. Up those wooden steps we went to an amazement of  an awful room to say the least!!! It was freezing,the window was open, no heating on just a plug in Heater! Thanks a bunch....the was smelly and the carpet was probably cream back in it’s DAY!!!!! The bathroom was rank. Now the bed was like sleeping on the floor (hard) the linemen had seen better days, the pillows were non existent.......BREAKFAST we were told we had to eat at 8am !! This was a Tuesday & we got down at 8.10am and breakfast consisted of a dried up pot of beans,fried sausage,hash brown ( we hadn’t ordered) and it was all cold. Instant coffee (yuk)
On one around to complain to as the young girl left after giving us breakfast (I’m sure was made the night before)
My ADVICE is DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!!!

£85 .....You having a laugh 😂

Having contacted the Piddle Inn in February 2019 I was happy to book a 2 night stay for September, Friday 6th and 7th. Two rooms for our annual weekend away confirmed by email. Fast forward to Thursday 5th and missed call from the Piddle wondering where we are. I called and was informed that they had now double booked and couldn't accommodate us for the Saturday. They attempted to findo somewhere for us but after 20 minutes gave up and offered a refund. I find this service disgraceful and it's now left us with no holiday. Piddle takes the Piddle.
