Absolutely lovely!  Right from the moment I arrived and was greeted by John, I felt very at home.  The bed was comfortable, the surroundings and garden were beautiful and it was everything I'd hoped for.  I spent 2 nights and it was such a lovely place to come back to after a days touring.  The lounge area is peaceful and a great place to sit and read a book.  And John's whisky porridge has to be tasted to be believed!  I'd definitely stay again.

A lovely couple of nights.

We stayed here for our final night of our Rob Roy Way walk and it was a perfect last stop after 82 miles walking! Bed was extremely comfortable, our room was on the top floor and it was quiet with lovely views of the Perthshire hills.
We didn't want a cooked breakfast, but instead enjoyed a lovely buffet selection- fresh fruit, yoghurts, home made jams and croissants. The Whisky porridge was the best we have ever tasted.
John was a lovely host offering suggestions for dinner and we really appreciated the lift back to the station-thank you. 
We would definitely stay again when in the area.

A lovely country house hotel with accommodating hosts

Had a two night stay at Craigatin. John was a great host, recommended some nice restaurants and offered to book them for us. Lovely peaceful location, its a short walk to the centre of Pitlochry.
Craigatin is the perfect place to stay. We had a suite on the upper floor so had some decent views, great to be able to choose which room at the time of booking too. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious  would definitely recommend the whisky porridge. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Short break

We made a quick stop in Pitlochry as we traveled from Edinburgh to Inverness. This was a great place! The rooms were very spacious and the host was accommodating and made a reservation for us at a local pub. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Would definitely stay here again!

Very accommodating!

Beautiful facility with a gracious and accommodating host. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable with cozy duvets and a lovely assortment of beverages. There is a lovely sitting area for relaxing. Breakfasts choices are plentiful and delicious.

Comfortable and welcoming BnB

We stayed here for our annual visit to the Enchanted Forest and we fell in love with the place instantly! 

It's easy to find, right on the main road into Pitlochry and a 5 minute walk from the centre. The building itself is set back from the road so there's no noise at all and the views of the garden from the breakfast room (even in the pouring rain) are lovely. 

We were in Room 5, which was cosy, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The hospitality tray included bottled mineral water and you can ask for fresh milk, too. This room also has a bath, which was much appreciated having returned cold and wet from the event! 

We slept really well and in the morning enjoyed a fantastic breakfast. Hubby raved about the Whisky Cream Porridge (and still is!) and there's a buffet with lots of choices from various cereals and fruit/yoghurt to mini pastries, plus the offer of toast. You also choose your cooked options the night before and both of those when they came (the full Scottish for hubby, and veggie sausages with beans and tomatoes for me) were delicious. 

We truly couldn't find fault and everything is spot on; the warm welcome, the facilities, and the food. 

We're definitely going to be coming back!

A 4-star Experience

Super B&B in Pitlochry. About 5mins walk to town centre. It’s a beautiful old building that has had a very tasteful extension at the rear as the breakfast room built with traditional materials so is not an ugly concrete  monstrosity.
Super breakfasts and do try their whiskey porridge.
Plenty of parking as long as you park sensibly to consider other guests.
Very comfortable room with en-suite.
Will definitely use if we pass through Pitlochry again.
Would definitely recommend the Cidsin Indian restaurant up the hill from the high steer.

Two night stay in Pitlochry

 Warm friendly welcome from John. Lovely furnished room.and clean.  Nice grounds and comfortable breakfast room too. Good locality for exploring. Visiting the Festivals Theatre. To see the show Gypsy.
Had a lovely breakfast, good choice . Hope to return.

Lovely stay

This Guest House is beautiful. It’s location on the outskirts of Pitlochry is perfect and run exceptionally well. The breakfast is great - particularly the whisky infused porridge! Always a pleasure staying there - thank you John and staff.

Must-stay beautiful Guest House Pitlochry

Craigatin House is a wonderful facility - beautiful building & grounds, within walking distance of town center Pitlochry, our room was spacious, clean, & well equipped, bed was very comfortable, & breakfast was wonderful. But John & Lynne's hospitality was the most outstanding attribute. My wife suffered a back sprain while there and Lynne offered up her office so we could phone NHS for an appointment - John gave up his soccer match viewing on tv to give us some privacy.  With their assistance we got help from NHS & were able to continue our vacation with only a minor delay.  Would definitely stay there again!
