Our family stayed here recently, taking two rooms. Very good value. Rooms were big, warm and comfy. Enjoyed the use of pool and sauna. Plenty of options in restaurant, and food was good. Service great, except for language barrier resulting in error, but this was quickly corrected. Very large lounge to relax with couple of drinks before bed, without our young girls annoying other guests. My wife forgot her hat, but this was promptly sent to our home address.
Overall, we really enjoyed the stay, and thought it was great value and location.

Enjoyable stay, great value

This is our third visit to the Hydro, and yet again we have really enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, warm and comfortable. The leisure facilities are fantastic. Best of all are the staff, all are so friendly and work very hard to make guests welcome. The manager of this hotel should certainly be very proud of the team. We have booked again in April and can't wait to come back!

Excellent Hotel!

Very disappointed in lack of things this day and age TV in room a postage stamp no sky in bar to watch sports hotel clean and food has been lovely can’t complain there everything closes early maybe because January right enough  nothing to do would think would be updated a bit

Needs updating

All around is perfect scenery; and Pitlochry a small town with a special atmosphere. We stayed for 3 nights, and enjoyed each day. Our room was warm and comfortable, although my personal 'gripe' was that the carpet is in urgent need of a good clean. This may well be on the hotel's list as a potentially busy season approaches. Just about every facility needed for a relaxing break.

A Hotel with Character

Just back from a lovely 2 night stay with our dog. The hotel is very dog friendly. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Food was also lovely! Room and bathroom very spacious, with great amount of room for the dog. Will definitely be back. 

Great dog friendly hotel. 

My sister myself and our mum have just left after 2 nights here, we booked a room we thought was accessible for our mum, as she has mobility issues, we got a room with a bath and overhead shower, which was of no use to our mum and we had to help her on and off the toilet. Also the shower head was filthy. The hotel is very outdated and has not had a thorough clean in a long time.  We ordered a rare steak and had to send it back as we couldn’t get a knife (steak knife ) through it, they brought us another dish it was ok. The breakfast was rubbish, there was hardly anything left and the tea was awful, what was left was just bearable to eat, with the result we ate out on the second night and passed on breakfast on the day we left and had something elsewhere. The staff are not very  helpful either. WILL NOT BE BACK

Will not be returning

We stayed here for one night. 
Room was clean, we had 2 dogs staying next door that were very noisy throughout day & night and woke us up early as well in the morning. We were hoping for a peaceful night away from the kids. 
Leisure facilities were very dated, the pictures shown on website make it looks so so much better than it is. 
Hotel staff were friendly 
The hotel could do with a re vamp- had a sour smell
Breakfast wasn’t the best- was like the food had been sitting for hours
We never ate dinner in the hotel but the menu looked good

Birthday night away

Received an Itison voucher for this hotel for a double room. Arrived and was given key to Room- 218. Single key no key card. YALE lock for room. Was given a room right across from lobby door so could hear door open and slam shut every time someone came and went from lift/stairs to floor. Door was not sound proof at all. Room was a twin room which was not what we paid for. Spoke to front desk staff who said it wasn’t his fault and must have been itison error (which apparently happened before). No other double rooms available, so had to just take the room. Barely given an apology. Just clearly wanted me away from the front desk. Room itself was very bare, very outdated wooden basic furniture. Single pane glass window on a wooden frame with a random red spotlight shining in room from outside. Could hear every conversation coming from outside of room. Poorly decorated and bathroom gave vibes of an old train station public WC. Expectations fell very short and we checked out of hotel after 1.5 hours. Should have checked reviews first which mirror almost our same experience. Received phone call from hotel day after which i thought was going to be an apology call from manager- how wrong i was. This call was regarding the PIN number from the itison which the front desk colleague took down incorrect when i first checked in and they wanted the correct one to charge us for the room. I questioned why we would do that given we left after just over an hour. The staff member said yes that is correct- given we handed back the key. However the maid stated someone slept in the room and they wanted to charge us. Absolutely shocking service from a very outdated hotel in a tourist hotspot. Would strongly advise against booking this hotel. Will be looking for a refund from itison.

Spent three glorious days at this hotel celebrating our wedding anniversary for the second year running as before everything was perfection the food is second to none our room was a delight and the service was first class

Greenpark hotel Pitlochry

Very poor effort food wise supposed to be A La cart menu but it was the same menu 3 nights running . Frozen fish, pizza, and peas . Did have steak ale pie first night but you don’t want that every night 🤢 .Must have been very taxing for the chef . The staff were amazing and very friendly. It was just the food that spoiled our break away .
