I stayed in the hotel over Easter when my husband was in hospital close by. 
Jodie and Caroline from reception were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, and I liked the policy of lone women being given a room in the building with the reception on the ground floor.

Friendly and helpful 

We recently stayed here for 1 night.
We had a lovely friendly greeting at check. We had paid £10 for early check in, this was organised with no issues at all.
The room was lovely and clean, we had extra pillows and towels.
The bed was extra comfortable and we had a lovely nights sleep.
We pre-paid for breakfast which was easy in the morning.
Breakfast was delicious and lots of different choices. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely, clean and comfy

Have stayed at this hotel several times when visiting our daughter. No frills hotel but rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Restaurant attached to hotel where you can get breakfast at an additional cost.

Short family break

Stayed one night as hotel is only a few minutes drive from the Royal Mint where we went for a tour.
Hotel was clean, comfortable and had very friendly and helpful staff. The Meal deal for breakfast and dinner at The Longbow Beefeater was excellent value with good choice and quality of food.
An excellent stay.

Llantrisant Premier Inn a great location for The Royal Mint

The hotel is looking old on the Outside and inside the rooms, you go to a premier inn to watch tv and relax what is difficult on a 12 inch tv the night we got there they was laying carpet in the room above what was annoying but a lick of paint and better shower and tv facilities are needed for the price they charge 

Needs improvement

Stayed for 1 night recently for a trip to the royal mint.Check in was quick with friendly staff. Room was clean and very comfy with tea and coffee facilities. Lovely shower and nice fluffy towels. Big choice for breakfast and very tasty, Would definately return, great value for money and great service.

really nice hotel

Room was a bit tired and in need of a refurb.
Cleanliness was average and a few small hairs in bath.
Air conditioning kept turning off after a few hours.
So during the night woke up very hot to find it had gone off.

A bit tired

Greeted with a smile, very happy with the service. The room is exactly what you need, basic but good standard all round. Parking was not a problem and the location to the valleys was great as well as for trips to Cardiff.

Great staff, value for money!

We had booked a twin room,but was given a double,used towel on the back of the door in the bathroom,strong smell of bleach in the ground floor bed room,we were given a twin room on the 1st floor no smell there.

3 night break moving our grandson to a new property

Lovely friendly staff, rooms perfect. Always get a lovely welcome, thank you. Easy to access and car park facilities just right too. definitely recommend.  We have stayed many times before and managed to get at some great prices but even when we have had to pay that bit extra we know we will have a lovely welcome, perfect rooms and the Beefeater compliments the friendly environment all round too.
