Worst place we've stayed in, very very dated, most things on the verge of falling apart. Unfriendly and rude owner, very overpriced and not worth it. 
Fortunately was very close to local amenities, but that is the only good part about the experience. Would not recommend 

Avoid at all costs 

Excellent location for the quay and shops. Apartment could do with a bit updating but plenty of room and clean. Good comfortable beds (double and two singles), walk in shower and combined living and dining room. Private car park which is a massive bonus and we never had any problems parking our car. There is a communal garden which isn’t enclosed. Be aware there are foxes hovering around late at night and early in the morning so don’t leave your dog unattended or off the lead. We ate at a few of the restaurants on and off the quay, all of which were of good quality. We did the island harbour cruise (£10) which was good value and you can walk to Poole park through the underpass in about 30 minutes. 

We would definitely stay again. The owner is there everyday to deal with any queries.

Good dog friendly apartment

We stayed in flat 2 of the apartments. The owner Sue was very good at communicating with us and we had an easy check in and check out. The flat was clean and spacious and the location was fantastic for the quayside and high street.

Great location and hosts

We had a ground floor two bedroom (1 double; 1 single) apartment.  The location and amenities were very good, close to both the quay and town centre.  Very clean with basic accommodation but when you are out and about all day its great. Everything was included - bedding, towels including dishcloth, washing up liquid and tea towels.  There were even toiletries in the bathroom, which we were not expecting.  Kitchen was well equiped and there was Freeview TV and DVD player in the lounge.

Lovely apartment, friendly owners, great location

We loved staying here, it was very good for our needs, sitting room with compy sofas which was good when you had been out during the day to relax at night. 
The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed gave us a good nights sleep.
It was a few minutes walk from the harbour, where you could get boat trips, also only a few minutes walk from shops, eating places and a Sainsburys, very convenient location. 
We would definitely  book again next time we are in the area.

Great Appartment

This downstairs apartment is EXCELLENT! It's clean, has plenty of room for the two of us (we have limited mobility), the bed is comfortable, the shower is HUGE (although booking.com said there was a bath), and there's even a washer/dryer in the kitchen so you don't have to find a laundrette in town.
A short walk to both the Quay and the town.
DOWNSIDES? If you have limited mobility, the car park is a bit of a squeeze when busy as there isn't a disabled bay. But the good points far exceed the bad. Loved it so much we've asked to stay an extra night. :)

Flat 1

This place is dreadful.
Full of damp/mould.
Do not drink the tap water, it's disgusting.
Spent a fortune on bottled water whilst there.
Furnishings and fittings from 30+ years ago.
Everything is worn out and the kitchen equipment looks like it all came from a charity shop. Yuck!
Windows have rotten wooden frames.
Right next door to a soup kitchen!
"Quayside"?? It's surrounded by blocks of flats!
The quay is nowhere to be seen.
Over priced and dingey.

STEER WELL CLEAR!!

So pleased we chose this apartment for our short break over the bank holiday. 
Clean,  well equipped,  homey, nicely decorated, perfectly located close to the quay and good sized rooms. 
There were only the three of us,  but with the extra bed space using the sofa beds. It could easily have taken 6. 
Apart from the well equipped rooms worth tv, fridge freezer, very comfortable beds and living soace, there were lots of extra little touches, such as a selection of board games to play with, free Wi-Fi,  a selection of dvd's to choose from. 
Strongly recommend this place.
