Shocking is how I would describe their deception!
As a seasoned disabled traveller, I make a point of fine tuning all details of a prospective holiday trip before booking.  I chose what seemed to be the perfect place, both accessible and pet friendly accommodation.  Although it was non refundable, I was confident that I had made a good choice for us as a family and booked the 3 night stay.  It looked beautiful, and seemed to have everything, although it was a little vague about towels being provided.  After booking through Booking.Com, I did ask about towels through the messaging service.  I received a nasty surprise reading All towels and Bed Linen should be brought by yourselves…!  I told them that I was disabled, and couldn’t make up bedding, yet they insisted that I had not read the information correctly.  WRONG.  I COMPLAINED, and was FULLY REFUNDED.

Avoid this place.  Deceptive.

Stayed in a dog friendly caravan which was lovely, modern, clean and couldn't fault it. Slightly noisey and squashed in, but it's my first time. Kids loved it but wife and I weren't so keen. Pool was basic and had to prebook due to the tiny changing rooms it would appear. Pool is shallow and limited hence why the kids loved it. 
Entertainment was great although Pool booking times clashed with dinner and Entertainment as was our first visit and didn't know quite how things worked. Drinks aren't the cheapest at the bar but then it's not someone I would want to see people enjoying a session while surrounded by kids.

We stayed in the lovely Silver 8 bed Caravan at 28 Rockley Vale. It was clean, tidy and perfect for my sister and I and our kids. We felt warm and secure and enjoyed both time on site and at local areas as the weather was pretty terrible each day. We stayed Monday to Friday over Halloween. We are at Barrell and Mash - we had a wait a long time, but food was great. We cooked in the caravan a few times, as well as going to the Yauctsman Pub which was lovely. We walked to the beach - in the rain, we played crazy golf, swimming (I agree with the other reviews that most of the lockers are broken) , played football on the court, spend time in the arcades as well as honing into Poole to visit Putt Putt Noodle and Flip out on the really wet days. We went to moores valley that was great, although 'go ape' was closed, as we had a different half term to others. Both were very quiet and enjoyable. I would certainly return and ask to stay in the same caravan. It was perfect for what we needed. The cousin squad had a great time. 

Caravan Cousin Squad

We stayed for 3 nights in the October half term, the weather was very windy and rainy but it did not stop us from enjoying our weekend away. The caravan was a silver grade in pine grove right next to the beach, which we loved, I paid the extra to book a caravan of choice. The view was beautiful. The caravan was spotless and the beds made with high quality linen, the heating was on so we were all warm and cosy. The grandchildren loved all the facilities and the arcade was the favourite. We all enjoyed a fish and chip supper. The site was kept very clean and tidy and shop was well stocked although we went to the supermarket just up the road. Poole is so nice to explore.  We found the staff very helpful and we had no issues at all. We will be back, thank you. 

Perfect stay with the grandkids 

Upon arrival we were greeted with a mud pit to park on, there was dirty, wet bedding mixed with old moldy buckets and spades and litter scattered everywhere on rhe decking, once entering the caravan, it was so filthy I had to tell the children to keep their shoes on! The carpets I don't think have ever been vacumed! The dog hair, sand, grime, dust, crumbs ect was awful! There was old food and crumbs in every kitchen cupboard, dog hair in the fridge, dirty underwear and socks on bedroom draws. Wrappers and rubbish under beds, stains on mattress, the pull out sofa bed was so filthy we had to make the children a bed using sofa cushions on floor! Although I paid for 6 quests, we were provided with 2 single duvets and 1 double. Called three times to ask for extras and no one ever came...we slept under dressing gowns the entire holiday. The pool complex was just as filthy and the amount of chlorine used is dangerous as my sons eyes were literally burnt after the first session and couldn't return. The mash and barrel is nothing short of a joke...twice we booked a table and twice we left after an hour of waiting. (As were most other families). Entertainment is so loud that I has to scream across the table to my partner and  my youngest kept asking to go home as it was hurting his ears. The Entertainment was mostly aimed at toddlers and then a very low budget band/ solo singer followed until you lost your will to live. Please don't waste your time or money people...you will be really disappointed. There was always queues of people complaining at the reception desk every time I walked in so I know we are not the only family to feel pretty let down by haven and rockley. 

Need a holiday to get over this one!

We have not been to Rockley since covid and how it has gone downhill. It was 5 star and now I would not say it was 1 star. We went to 2 other caravan sites as normal and liked leaving this one to last as it was the best. No longer. It is now tatty, dirty and needs investment. The only good part was the Entertainment. They now have visiting acts every night of the week which stops seeing shows we had seen before. Spoke to some people who said they owned a caravan on site and since a new manager nothing has improved just got worse. Not sure we will be back next year.

Now 1 * not 5*

Booked a cheap 4 night break through Haven at Rockley Park.  The park is situated on the river estuary and there is a small beach.  The park itself is quite hilly.  There is a regular bus service into Poole town centre and costs £4 return.  We didn't use any of the facilities on the park except the Mash and Barrel restaurant, where the food was good and reasonably priced.  The park is in an ideal position to explore Poole and the surrounding area.

Good cheap break

Just returned from a 3 day stay at Rockley Park and already looking to book next year. Caravan was amazing for the price we paid, fireworks were fantastic, my grandson loved them. Entertainment was the highlight of our stay they were so good and catered for all ages. Massive respect to Jordan and the team your hard work stood out and we had the best time. We ate at the mash and barrel twice and the food was so good definitely recommend the Sunday roast dinner.
Look forward to coming back!!

Fantastic stay!

I have visited Rockley many times over the last few years sometimes three or four times however this year has been well below the usual standards.Issues with soiled lounge furnishings and stained carpets. Went to reception in July during a stay ,booked and paid extra for a  specific caravan for our september break , when we arrived we had been located to a caravan that looked into the bedroom of the caravan next door and a large tree trunk... not the harbour view booked and paid for! Plus the sofas stank of stale urine and were stained.    The park facilities are not sufficient especially in the holidays and  from our observation the passes are over sold , there were alot of disappointed kids! Haven know that the pools , entertainment etc are not big enough to cater for the numbers.    Booking another park { without your location you would be half empty }and going abroad.... 

Rockley your standards have slipped this year !

Caravan was dirty, fridge was filthy. Both toilets were disgusting. Carpets in bedrooms covered in dirt still.
Whole family itching and covered in bites. Caravan smelt revolting. 
Damage to doors, splinters just at the right height for a child to touch!
Onsite, entertainment room is not accessible for children with SEN. Literally a room with no windows - avoid if you have family with Autism!
Mash & Barrel is revolting, although the staff were very nice when our food came out cold and missing dishes.
Chippy - don’t bother. 
Papa Johns was lovely.

Whole site could do with a refurb and clean. Limited areas to sit and eat on site when the weather is cooler or dark. 

Left a day early as it was just terrible. Worst Haven we’ve been and we holiday at Haven every year, if not twice.
