The helpful owners certainly know their market and their 
customers very well and have pitched their place 100%.
No wonder they are nearly always full !
They are within easy walking distance of Poole Quay and
Poole Arts Centre.
My double room was well equiped, very clean and I wanted
for nothing including wifi.  Even a shared microwave and 
fridge in the hall.
I have already recommended them to a friend and no doubt
that I will return.

Excellent sums this place up...

Great location for us as we were visiting family and nice and clean but definitely needs updating.. was very noisy. We stayed for 2 nights and was kept up for half the night by people staying next door as walls extremely thin.. upon checkout we were  asked about a missing pillow case.. my husband and I were very confused about this as this was news to us..
 we both had 2 pillows each which were very thick so only slept with one each..we had not touched the pillow cases and certainly not removed but the owners did not believe us and charged us £5 and insinuated that we were drunk and had removed .  , If anything had happened to a pillow case I would have told them, but it didn’t and  he didn’t want to know..
I hope you find the missing pillow case that you didn’t even put on and realise that you had falsely accused us. Won’t be visiting again. Felt I had to write this review , however petty all over a pillow case and I hope Parkside read it ,

Noisy and

Very nice B&B. Very clean rooms with tea and coffee in rooms, along with television. They don't do breakfast but there are several items left in the room, like biscuits, fruit juice, snack bars, instant porridge. Ideal for short stop, or if you're sailing out on the ferry in the morning. Would recommend.

Visit for Tankfest

The owner was really lovely and helpful. Offered us early check in with instructions on how to do so. Bed was soooooooo comfy! Location was fab, with a 10-15 minute walk to the waterfront bars and restaurants.

Are close to a park! Paid in advance then had to pay for another hotel. Booking contacted them but they would not refund. I blame both Booking and the hotel for incorrectly advertising this hotel. When I spoke to the owner/manager he was polite but couldn’t answer why it wasn’t stated on the website that they didn’t accept children or why Booking lets you book for 1 adult and 1 child if they don’t accept children. 

Very unclear on Booking.com description but this hotel does not accept children - description even mentions that they  

I stayed here for one evening, for business purposes.  I was greeted by a friendly proprietor, shown to a very clean and tidy room and advised where to go for food in the evening.

This place is not designed for luxury, it is designed for function and affordability.  I had a clean and comfortable bed, with a selection of breakfast style snacks to choose from (for as little at 50p each).  Coffee and tea facilities are available and the toilets/shower rooms are kept immaculately clean.  

Drawbacks are thin walls, where you can hear people moving around and the need to take your own shower gel/shampoo (I don’t think I was supposed to use the bottles in the shower?).

If I need to, I will stay again, as I had a pleasant night.

Budget at its best 🏆

Great value near to the port so ideal if you have an early morning ferry.
Parking was easy to book & we received a warm welcome.
Our room was a good size.

The only downside is the traffic noise from the main road if you have the windows open.
