The food was nice in the pub , the place needs a new life I injection
It don't cost much to make something look classy
All the carpets are absolutely filthy 
Very unwelcoming
They could put wood effect lino in all rooms lt will classy , and if any spillage it won't stain like the vile carpet they got
It's like whipe feet on way out

Have the room cosy not stone cold 

Have a blanket or silk at bottom bed to match curtains very cheap and simple but makes massive difference

More socket in bedroom it should be a socket each side of the bed 
If the theses improvements are made the place be absolutely thriving

The spare pillow was like a brick 
Bigger tv is a must

Absolutely atrocious place. May as well be demolished. The only thing that was good was the food. Very rude staff especially the management. Who on earth does this female manager think she is, rude impolite disrespectful towards her staff. 
The room was cold and you could taste the damp in the air of , the room. 
The young female staff were lovely and trying to be helpful, under the pressure they were working under. The female manager goes off , on walk about, leaving the bar unattended. And unfortunately I have had to use the restroom and found a small plastic bag with, what and I’m no expert on drugs but it had white powder inside. 
Should be investigated by the local police. 
I’m glad that my family have all gone back home to America now . We certainly will not be visiting there again

Disgusting place

A mediocre meal from now a mediocre pub.
Gone are the good days of The Twelve.
This once was a bustling pub with good food and a great atmosphere now all that greets you is....
Broken toilet seats.
Tired dirty carpet.
Problems with fryer.
Lack of stock.
Presentation of meals is canteen style.
Cutlery and condiments were usually brought to table now told " they are down there"
Have given it a miss for awhile due to changing of management so thought maybe see if things had improved. 
Sorry to say definitely won't be eating here again .

No thanks

So disappointing. Have been a patron for 30 years. New management. No insight into local area. We are a community hub and seems that isn't wanted anymore. Its such a shame as previous management took over during covid and achieved an awful lot. Pubs and restaurants are not only about takings . Sometimes you need to do a little research into the community. Hopefully they will look to the future and realise that we are at heart a community.

We visited for a family meal and I was very impressed with the service me and the rest of my family had off a red headed woman unfortunately I didn’t have chance to catch her name. Anything we needed or wanted to change (we had some picky eaters) she was more than happy to help as it was very busy evening and she was alone working the restaurant and even brought our drinks to us instead of making us wait at the bar the girl deserves some praise for her hard work. Definitely a credit to the pub. Will be visiting again 👍🏻

Excellent Service. 

We arrived for my daughters graduation meal we were greeted by Kayleigh who explained that the gluten free options were unavailable due to the gluten fryer being down, from start to finish she had seen us throughout every stage of our table service even brought our drinks over to the table for us even though she was quite busy. We were appalled at the fact though that we were a table of 7 and she was the only staff member in running the bar and restaurant we were astonished how she walked around so calm and managed to get to us all in good timing  when even another table of 8 walked in and sat across from us and she delivered yet again high quality service she is a credit to that place however we couldn't help but feel sorry for her as we later found out she's only been there a matter of weeks as the assistant manager this should not be happening! I would give 1 star based off the fact she shouldn't of had to run a hotel by herself with no support but because of her amazing customer service we gave her and just her the 5 star rating . Thank you Kayleigh ! You need a raise superstar  !!!

New management nice surprise

the rooms badly need updating theres black mold in the bedroom and bathroom the carpet is stained and is actually coming up, theres stains on sheets fixtures in bathroom are hanging off the walls, the bathroom window never opened and the room was smelling of smoke the toilet had water constantly running in it all night 

would never stay again 

Had our wedding reception here last week, Gareth and Emma went above and beyond for us. Could not have done more for us, amazing hotel, amazing management and a lovely team who make it a lovely place to go. Amazing food, suitable for familys and couples.

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all the management and staff at the Twelve Knights public house for making our Xmas lunch very special and enjoyable. Our party enjoyed every mouthful and although the staff were very busy, they worked very hard at making the lunch festive, happy and enjoyable. Would recommend and definitely re-book our Xmas lunch there. Thank you all very much 👍🏼

Xmas lunch

Brilliant service from front of house staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We all went for the festive menu and compliments to the chefs Simon and Matthew. Plenty of gravy offered, main meal was great and lovely desserts. Everyone enjoyed 😁
