We have stayed at this hotel in November for the last 4 years & thoroughly recommend it. It is right on the harbour with fantastic view of Porthleven. The hotel & room were very clean. The staff are excellent & very tentative.  Also, being a coeliac sufferer, I found the hotel very accommodating, & the food quality was excellent. We look forward to returning next year.

Another excellent stay at the Harbour Inn, thank you to all the staff very efficient as always. Rooms excellent.  Food really tasty all in a very relaxed atmosphere.  The Harbour Inn is in a perfect location with lots of walking and and a beautiful Harbour. Thanks again for a very enjoyable few days.  We will certainly be back when we can.

Lovely Autumn Break

Such a great place, everything was wonderful, the room, the staff, the food and drinks, the service, the location, all in all a most wonderful 4 nights stay. High quality fittings and well laid out with a nice comfortable atmosphere. We will come back one day!

A great place all round

A wonderful experience.
Fabulous room - no views but superbly appointed, with lvery comfortable beds, a separate lounge, Nespresso coffee machine and good shower.
Excellent meals (dinner & breakfast) and very pleasant staff.

Highly recommended, and right on the harbour.

My wife and I took my mother on a trip down memory lane to this part of Cornwall. What a successful visit and stay at Harbour Inn. We were so impressed with the room interior design and high level of comfort. The room is not large but that was to be expected. What we didn’t expect was the high-quality amenities and fittings in the room. We regretted not having our evening meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was perfect.  The owners, St. Austell Brewery, have done an excellent job with the refurbishment. We immediately looked up other St. Austell Brewery hotels to book a stay next time we are in the west country.

A memorable stay

We had a lovely 2 night stay,for our anniversary, a cosy, clean and comfortable room lovely settling, its an area we have visited before, so much more tranquil this time of year, friendly helpful staff and a great breakfast will certainly be a place to stay again.

Great stay

We came down to visit friends who live nearby and wanted somewhere to have a short break. The whole experience was excellent from the moment we arrived until departure. The staff couldn't have been any friendlier and the room was spotless and we really had a fantastic stay. Breakfast was great and we had an evening meal in the restaurant on Saturday and once again we were not disappointed with the quality and service. Overall we had a great short break and it was tremendous value for money and will be back again soon.

Great Hotel in Stunning Location

Lovely stay with our puppy. From booking the staff have been so friendly and helpful. We were given an upgrade to a harbour view suite which was perfect. The dog goody bag was also a nice touch. We enjoyed the breakfast and also having drinks by the fire which was super relaxing. A perfect spot to explore this part of Cornwall.

Lovely relaxing stay

A really nice place to stay. Very dog-friendly with a generous goody bag to take home. The room was lovely. Very posh bathroom, big towels, high-end toiletries. Really comfortable,huge bed and bedding, especially the pillows. Nice seating area overlooking the harbour within the room. Well thought out extras eg posh tea, yummy biscuits, complimentary hot drinks, ‘Dry Robe’-style coats in case you fancied a sea swim, delicious food including particularly nice breakfasts….lots of choice, big glasses for the juices. Very pretty harbour to wander round too. Low season visit so quite a lot of the village shops/cafes etc were closed but preferable to heaving crowds in the summer! Very accessible for beautiful beaches.

Great hotel and location.

The decor in the rooms and bars are amazing, comfy beds, showers are very good, food is good, staff are very helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. the location is easy to get to, and Porthleven is beautiful, and further afield is well worth going to.
