Rather rate this as "good" rather than average but the rating system is a bit limited. A good base for a few days to tour the area (Derry, Belfast, Giants Causeway etc.) with a hotel bar next door, plenty of restaurants in town and good supermarkety access nearby. Ideally a family venue. The onsite cafe (Dora's) was also handy. Most happy with the attitude and help of the proprietor. Well done Tom.

Clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for a big family get together of all ages. Had 2 cottages. Perfect for what we needed. Great communal space, outdoor play for kids and lovely cafe on site.
Tom was very helpful from the outset.
There was some grounds work being done during our stay but no real inconvenience to us. Tom kept us informed and gave us a generous voucher for the cafe. 
Would stay again. 

Family gathering

French motorcyclists came with friends to attend the Northwest 200 motorcycle race from 13 to 18 May. This cottage is very well located on the coast to visit all the sites in the area. Tom welcomed us very kindly. Cottage very well equipped: quiet place. Dora's tea room right next door convenient for breakfast or a snack.

Pleasant stay

Stayed here with my adult son and his partner. Our cottage was wheelchair accessible with facilities. Great location for visiting the area and good onsite facilities for children - play area and games room. Dora's tearoom which is onsite is super. A must to check out too.  Our cottage was well-equipped and if we had needed anything the hosts were always on hand. They also had great knowledge of the area.


Family friendly and accessible 

We recently rented 3 of the cottages for a hen party and it couldn’t have worked out any better. Houses were well equipped with everything we needed for cooking and drinking- right down to the bottle opener! Plenty of room and lovely outside area where we could sit in the sun. Handy for going into portrush. The bedrooms in all 3 houses were a great size and clean and tidy. Living rooms were great for socialising (funny smell in one of the living rooms but we had 2 others to sit about in). Dora’s for breakfast in the morning was amazing! Would definitely stay again!  

Brilliant spot! 

Cottages r first class. When we arrived Gail showed us everything we needed to know about the cottage. Dora’s tea room is beautiful and the food is absolutely delicious. Tom is a gentleman and alway around. He arrived at our cottage with a bag of home grown tomatoes 🍅🍅🍅🍅 that we’re delicious . Great place to stay and close all local amenities will definitely be back. Thank you Tom and Gail 👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just returned from a great week at Ashlea cottages. We stayed in Dunluce cottage facilities excellent for my Mother who is disabled.

During our stay great- grandchildren came to visit they loved the playpark and games room.

Location was lovely as was Dora's tea room which had a great menu.
Everyone wants to return next year!!!.

Holiday

We've made a stop here: a large cottage for eight people with three bathrooms, a large kitchen corner, a good reception and sympathy from the owners, parking spaces available, outdoor games for children, out of the center with the benefits of quietness and a supermarket just two minutes' drive away!

Big cottages with all the comforts!

This small village of cottages located in a quiet area at the end of the city is an excellent base for tourism in the area. The very nice manager does his best to satisfy you. He has a minibus and can drop you off (and look for you, of course), in the city or at any site you want to visit. A few hundred metres away you will find supermarkets, an off licence (sale of alcohol) and a gas station.

All right, all right.

10 days stay for 11 golfers occupying comfortable and well-equipped cottages (maybe it would have been better to have a dishwasher rather than a kitchen washing machine..?) Remarkably located to visit this beautiful area and play golf (excellent courses a few miles away).
