Wonderfully affordable hotel. Staff were so friendly it was like a home from home. Clean budget rooms and a fabulous breakfast. Lovely bar area although we didn’t use it. Easy to find with a large free car park. Did I say how friendly it was???

Friendliest hotel ever

On arrival, we were greeted warmly. The receptionist was helpful. We had a double room (30), which was spotlessly clean throughout. A good size room and bathroom (again spotlessly clean). The bed was comfortable and a strangely undisturbed sleep from a hotel that seems to cater to travelling workers during the week.

Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious, a good size portion so much so neither of us could finish the meal. The breakfast staff were attentive, polite and efficient. Again, the restaurant was, and kept, spotlessly clean despite the throughput of guests.

For a 3 star hotel, this really is a gem of a hotel.

A gem of a Hotel

Been here before, very good budget hotel with fair prices and breakfast is included. We stayed in room 29 very spacious lovely bathroom I’ve not no complaints room was spotless when arrived can’t say the same when we left but I did try tidy up. Lovely staff very welcoming if your ever in Preston would recommend staying there. 

Lovely budget hotel 

Great little hotel rooms are great very modern and well equipped (only niggle hand towels please). Breakfast is fantastic great little bar and walking distance for food in the evening. The owner is very nice and Christi a lovely young staff member was amazing and rest of the staff we seen were pleasant. Definitely recommend hotel. Beds are very comfortable.

5* hotel 

Fantastic, friendly and helpful staff.
I was able to check into my room early which I was extremely grateful for after starting my journey at 5.30 am.
The breakfast was amazing, and again staff were happy to be flexible with individual needs.
Would deffinitely stay again!!

Fantastic hotel and experience.

Great little affordable hotel. Clean, quiet, great breakfast included & very obliging - making hot milk for coffee at breakfast. Very welcoming on arrival & put me in a new room well off the road. Couldn’t fault it! 

A reasonably priced little gem

I had a spacious, spotless, modern room with everything I needed. The bed was  really comfortable. There was no noise, great curtains and I slept very well.
The staff at breakfast were wonderful; friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok. I thought that it was overall good value for money and I would recommend it. There is a cute bar too!

Good points: I only paid £49 for a single room with breakfast for one night very close to Preston town centre. Even a Travelodge would charge £62.99 and that's with no breakfast.
It had a private car park which wasn't too bad to park .
The WiFi was free and good reception.
The breakfast was pretty good and the staff were friendly. 
Bad points:  stayed in room 8 right at the top of the hotel at the front corner so you could hear the traffic from the street. It was two storeys. It had a single bed. The mattress was old,not very springy. There was loose paint and scratches and mastic everywhere. The cupboard draws looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years there was bits in them . The towels felt rough and not fluffy. There was no coffee in the room only tea bags. The floor outside the room creeked so anyone walking outside you could hear. 
Conclusion. The pics of the other rooms looked alot better than my basic room so if you can stay in them I think it would be alot better .For one night  in room 8 it was ok if you just wanted to sleep for the night.  

Single room sadly a letdown

AVOID at all cost. Cancelled my room days before the wedding. Leaving me with little option elsewhere. Reading other reviews, looks like it's a regular occurrence. Lady on phone said 'I'm just the messenger" and didn't offer any alternative. Sounded like she had done that type of call many times before.

Avoid this hotel. Cancelled my reservation days before arrival.

There is a positive to this review... the staff were really friendly. I only stayed for one night and if I had booked any longer I would have paid to stop elsewhere. I have no idea how this can be classed as a 3 star as I would rate it as 1. The room I had could have done with a complete remodel. They are currently building new rooms at this hotel and it's much needed. However even if the room is dated which they could provide you with a spotless room with clean sheets and you could forgive the very used state of the room. I don't think I slept for more than a hour as the room smelled of bleach and cigarettes so the window had to be open... its on a main road so this was a issue with noise. The room was dirty with marked bedding and stains all over the place. I travel regularly and this was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. You can hear everything in the rooms and the beds are dated with dirty sheets it's not a great place to sleep at all. I found a used towell in the wardrobe and the blinds were damaged with a dirty window sill. The room and bathroom had marks all over it. Wallpaper peeling off and just to sum it up .... it needs a complete remodeling. The corridor outside had a real funky smell. Overall it was dire, dirty and not a place I would ever consider stopping at again. I hope once the new rooms are built the old room are shut down and updated.
