2 night stay for local wedding. Beautiful building ,clean and quaint room. Food was above average and so delicious. Located in a beautiful village . Staff so very professional, helpful and polite. A great find for sure. Would recommend to anyone

Handy wedding guest sccomodation

Booked an overnight stay in a double room as I was attending a wedding reception just up the road. It's in a beautiful village between Lancaster and Preston.    Excellent room, enormous bathroom, clean, tidy, very comfortable bed.  The staff were excellent.  I had to check out very early so they prepared me some sandwiches to take with me instead of the breakfast.   I've no negatives,  highly recommended.   

Great stay

Everything about The Priory was glorious (and no, I'm not comparing it to the Ritz), but it ticked every box for a recent weekend visit to the area to see family. Located in a quiet, picturesque village, the apartment we had was fantastic and had everything we needed. What made the extra difference though was the quality of service offered by every person I had contacted with, from my original tentative enquiry, through to booking and then to our stay itself the fantastic people here could not have done more, and the quality of the food/drinks we had was perfect. If I need accommodation in the area again I can at least now save myself a search and just book for here, thank you for your brilliant business ! 

Fantastic weekend stay near Garstang

We were warmly greeted but had been texted a key code for the front door in case we arrived after 5pm. 
We slept extremely well in the comfortable bed and our small room which overlooked the square was lovely and quiet even with the window open - you cannot turn the radiator off!  
When my husband left the room to get something from the car anyone in the passageway would have seen me sitting in bed... it was the same room shown on this hotel's Tripadvisor page where you can see the door in line with the bed. 
There is no wardrobe just an open hanging space by the bed.
Breakfast was in the boutique style cafe and ok although I didn't get quite what I asked for and sadly no pot of freshly brewed coffee avialable!  However the one poached egg (I had asked for two) was perfectly cooked. 
We felt the price was a bit steep for what we got.

Good night's sleep

Ours was a last minute booking so we may have had the least favourable double room at the Priory. The room was fairly small and dark, with one small window overlooking the rear car park.. The bed was a bit creaky. There was a large semi circular bath with overhead shower, but you could only use the shower by holding the shower head in your hand.
On the other hand, the breakfast was good quality and the staff were friendly.. We had a ploughman’s supper left in our room for an evening meal, and that was good as well.

Comfortable

Nice little English country boutique b&b. Staff were very friendly and knew who you were throughout the weekend stay. Breakfast was very good, we had a mix of breakfast sandwiches, full English, juices and various coffees. would recommend staying here if you are at an event at the wedding venue up the hill.

Lovely English Country B&B

Book the new apartment rooms and what a lovely surprise it was. Room was open plan flag stone floor with fully equipped kitchenette. Plenty of space. 
Booked B&B so breakfast was in the main hotel. These breakfasts were superb with a good choice which were hot, good portion sizes and very well prepared. One of the best quality breakfasts we have had at any hotel. Spacious carpark. Dog friendly. 
Lovely rural area to explore which makes this hotel an ideal base for Forest of Bowland and not far from larger towns. Loved how quiet the town of Scorton was and not far from the M6/A6.

A cheeky break

Called in there today for a simple lunch. Soup and a Sandwich. The soup was bacon and mushroom WOW! It was absolutely gorgeous. The service was perfect and the staff really nice. A little haven in a gorgeous village.

Soup to die for

We stayed here for a wedding at a nearby venue, I really loved this quaint and cosy little hotel. The proprietor was lovely and super helpful, and I loved our cosy little room. Really good breakfast too with a lot of choice, I had crumpets with cheese which was ideal as I'm not a full english person and at many places everything comes with eggs which I don't eat. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you're in Scorton.

Lovely little property

Absolutely loved Our stay at The Priory, our room was lovely, warm and clean, 
The staff were excellent , very helpful.  We stayed 3 nights and will certainly be returning in the future . The Priory is one of the older properties in the charming village of Scorton, loads of character and very homely, fire was lit for a fabulous home cooked breakfast and freshly ground coffee.
