Thank you, Ian, for a great stay. The bedroom was clean and tidy as was the adjoining bathroom. Ian was extremely accommodating with both breakfast (yum!) and a packed lunch for our first day of cycling the Hadrian's wall route.  It was a 3 minute walk from the Ravenglass train station so extremely easy to find.  Supper was just next door at Pennington's hotel, so very convenient. Thank you, Ian!

Sea views and an amazing host

Just stayed here for the weekend as attending a wedding in the area. What a beautiful b&b we was looked after from check in to check out by Ian and Sarah. Always had a smile on their faces, made sure we had everything we needed and made our weekend so much more perfect. The room was clean and fresh and attention to detail was spot on and the bed was so comfy. The view over to the sea was lovely to look at first thing in the morning. Then breakfast was catered too exactly how we liked it. Would highly recommend.

Perfect little couples getaway

Stayed here Easter Saturday night. Friendly hosts, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and the location is fantastic, with lovely views looking straight out over the estuary. The Inn at Ravenglass, just next door, serves great food. Couldn’t fault anything - can highly recommend and I would definitely return.

Perfect

This was a wonderful stay and couldn't be faulted in any way. I felt well looked-after by Ian and Sarah from check-in to check-out and their attention to detail and friendliness made this a superb weekend. The room was fantastic, with a comfortable bed, clean bathroom and a lovely view over the estuary. The breakfast was delicious and the options were plentiful and served in a cosy, welcoming dining room. Will definitely be returning here again in the future.

A simply faultless stay!

Located overlooking the sea. Fantastic views from our room. A warm welcome from the hosts Ian and Sarah. Comfortable bedrooms with lots of nice touches. Big tea tray with treats in the room added to experience. 
Very sweet tea room, gallery and shop also in the  downstairs where you can sit and take in the view again. 
Lovely breakfast cooked to order completed our stay. Would highly recommend this guest house as a base to explore the area. We went on the Ravenglass railway for afternoon tea. Great weekend was had by all.

What a fabulous find!

We only called in for coffee and cake but the welcome was so warm and the selection of homemade cakes was superb for such a small location. 

We love the innovative use of their home to maximise their footfall as a business. At once a guesthouse, café and gallery! 

Lovely place, would visit again if in the area.

Lovely little place

I stayed at Rosegarth in 2019 and had a wonderful time. 3 years later I returned. Check-in was painless and simple. They even recognised me all this time later. Everything I needed was available. The owners have a calm and straightforward approach to everything. I'm a fussy eater but they kindly catered to me at breakfast and made it easy. The view from my window was stunning. Next time I come to Ravenglass I plan to stay here again. Ian and Sarah make everything easy and do so with a smile. 

Best in class at Ravenglass 

We so enjoyed our stay at Rosegarth. The setting was brilliant , particularly as we were able to enjoy our own patio outside our room. The friendly Inn next door provided sundowners as we enjoyed the sun going down on a perfect Lakeland day.
Hosts Ian and Sarah were superb. We hope to return later this year.

A tranquil hidden gem

A great B&B overlooking the tidal estuary at Ravenglass (some excellent sunset views). The rooms were clean and comfortable, some with excellent views of the estuary and others with a nice view of the back garden. Hosts Ian & Sarah were wonderful and full of knowledge about the area. Breakfasts were excellent and we never left hungry. There's a tea room for lunch/afternoon tea (soup, sandwiches, ice cream, cakes etc.) and shop (local art, books & souvenirs) downstairs that are open several days a week, and picnic tables out front to sit and enjoy the lovely view (or eat indoors, still with a view). 

The location is perfect with a pub serving excellent food right next door, a hotel with bar & restaurant two doors down in the other direction, and a great pub (The Ratty Arms) at the railway station (only a 2 minute walk away). You can even enjoy a visit without a car as Ravenglass is well served by train being right on the Cumbrian coast line from Lancaster & Barrow to Carlisle with trains in both directions roughly hourly from around 06:30 to around 21:00. There's also La'al Ratty (the Ravenglass & Eskdale miniature steam railway) right behind platform 2 at the National Rail station that will take you up to Dalegarth, a few minutes walk from the village of Boot and the Eskdale Mill.

We had a very pleasant stay in a wonderful area with wonderful hosts. We hope to be back again someday and  the Rose Garth will certainly be our first choice for accommodation.

Great room with estuary view, delicious breakfasts and excellent hosts. Highly Recommended.

We have stayed at the Rosegarth a couple of times before and it never disappoints. The guest house is right on the estuary with amazing views of the wide life. If your lucky you will see the seal that sits on the sand  bank. The Rosegarth is spotlessly clean and the breakfast is amazing. We like to stay in room eight as the bedroom has its own front door. Ian is very friendly and has good local knowledge. There is also a little gift shop which is great especially the paintings. If you want a relaxing holiday and like walking I would highly recommend the Rosegarth.
