Would not use this hotel again eat very average food and ended up with a parking fine never again the food was not cheap and very average no mention when I went in about parking charges also sat there for nearly an hour for the food to arrive after complaining the food arrived cold never again

Very poor

I went here with two friends for Sunday lunch and I can honestly say that it was the best meal I've ever had, eating out. I had roast lamb, which was absolutely delicious, the veg, eventhough it was 3pm, was cooked to perfection (not soggy or old ), the staff were great, friendly, polite and professional. We only had a main course as that was all we all could eat, there was that much. Really wanted a sticky toffee and custard dessert, but declined as I'd just be a glutton😁.
Anyone that goes there, won't be disappointed....the place is FABULOUS for a great Sunday lunch...they do do other meals 😀

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS

Went for mums 90th birthday with family at lunchtime. We all had the lunchtime deal and all said how lovely it was. The food was hot and we didn’t have to wait long following our order. We were all surprised when the staff sang happy birthday and gave mum a portion of cheesecake with a candle!!  Staff were brilliant and we shall definitely return. Thank you to all the staff.

I attended a wedding on 6th July 24 I can't thank the staff enough, the food was out this world THE BEST WEDDING MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD, the staff went above and beyond for everyone, the room was stunningly decorated, the gardens are amazing and just overall the best wedding I've been too. The room was a standard room but comfy and clean. Can't fault a single thing. We had breakfast in the morning and again it was brilliant. Thank you The Elms x

AMAZING !!!!

£20 for early check in even though our room was actually ready. Only an hour and half before actual check in time I thought was a bit steep. Our room was poor, the carpet was dirty and hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathroom was not good either, black hairs in the shower, sink and on the toilet. Bed is uncomfortable too. Needs a refurbishment! Also sounded like someone was marching up and down directly above us from about 5am until 9am this morning. Had a bad night’s sleep unfortunately and wouldn’t stay there again.

Well where do I start, thank you,thank you, thank you Dency and Praveen. Our daughter Heather married the love of her life Aaron at The Elms and oh what a day, it was perfect in every way. Firstly thank you both for all the arrangements in the build up. Thank you to all your team for the fantastic job in setting up the room and ceremony area they looked stunning. Every member of staff had a smile through out and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for the incredible food, it was just scrumptious. Overall experience was amazing and I would highly recommend this establishment for your special occasion. Very much appreciated, thank you. Kind regards. Fiona

Perfect Day

Avoid this hotel at all costs! 

Rooms are very shabby, not at all like how they are advertised. They are dirty, unclean sheets hair in sinks, shampoo all over tiles, rubbish still left in bins. When you speak to reception, I’ve never met someone so unprofessional. The Asian lady was so abrupt, she also had a really bad odour issue which explains her standard in the room cleaning. Also check your receipt as they over charge for drinks, we ordered a bottle of wine for £14 was charged £22, and when we bought this to their attention another rude abrupt reply with no offer of refund. I will never stay again and would dearly urge anyone else not to use this hotel or pub.

The Elms is our favourite place to eat ither Sunday lunch or meal at tea time also best Indian meal in Rithuls restaurant  .The staff are always polite and welcoming food is always hot we would recommend The Elms to anyone…Val+ Walt Childe

Good place to visit with family 

Had a fantastic time at The Elms hotel. The owner Praveen and her staff were very friendly, we had an Indian meal in there Indian restaurant which was very tasty.
The room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable.
We are definitely going back.
Highly recommended
