What an amazing day we had out with Ash today. The most amazing wildlife was seen from Snipe/ cuckoo/sika deer/ravens/Ospreys to the amazing White tailed Eagle soaring above the moorland. Fantastic...

Wildlife experience

Second visit and, I hope, not my last. Superb location for really experiencing the birds and animals of Scotland. Ash & Tracey are great hosts and the morning and whole-day Landrover trips to see the local wildlife are incredible. The accommodation itself is very comfortable and well appointed and Tracey's delicious breakfasts are served in a room with a spectacularly beautiful view across just the most wonderful countryside. 

Wildlife experience experienced

We have already booked our return visit . Fantastic stay at Invercassley Cottage with Ashley and Tracey. The annexe is extremely comfortable well equipped with fantastic views . Tracey’s five star breakfasts and Ashley’s tours are a definite must .Their love and knowledge for the people surrounding areas and wildlife shines brightly through .

Invercassley Cottage B&B Well worth a visit ! 

This was our third visit to Invercassley Cottage and again it did not disappoint. Tracey and Ashley are the best of hosts and they are very generous in sharing their extensive knowledge of the area and it’s wildlife. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped and it is a bonus to have a kitchen area. Tracey’s breakfasts are impressive and delicious. You will not go hungry! We have had a day out with Ashley wildlife viewing before which was amazing but this time that trip was surpassed!
There were many highlights during the day including Osprey fishing, White Tailed Eagles, Golden Eagle and even rescuing a stranded Gannet!! We cannot recommend Invercassley Cottage highly enough.

Amazing!!

Ash and Tracey have to be the most hospitable hosts in the business. The annexe is really comfortable and quiet, two bedrooms with en suites, a comfortable sitting room withTV,  books, dvds etc, and there's  a well-equipped kitchen/diner if you don't feel like eating out every night. We only stayed for four nights and so didn't work our way through the whole of Tracey's  breakfast menu, which is very varied, generous,  and delicious, catering for all diets. Within a few minutes walk there is a stunning glen and it is well worth going on one of Ash's wildlife tours. He's highly respected in the world of nature and conservation with a special knowledge of birds of prey. He and Tracey will point out things you might never have otherwise noticed. There is beautiful landscape for miles around and we did drive out on two of our days, but we would have been happy to explore within walking distance for the whole stay. For us it was perfect and we wished we'd stayed longer.

Can't wait to go back!

An absolutely fantastic B&B in an great location. Ash and Tracey were excellent hosts. As it was my first time in that area they suggested places to go and walks to do.  The Land Rover Safari with Ash was realllly interesting and his knowledge of the local wildlife was superb. Next time I'm aiming to go to Scotland will definitely check their availability.  If it wasn't so far [I live in Hampshire] I'd go back regularly.

Lovely stay at Invercassley Cottage, we would love to have stayed longer and had a wildlife trip with Ash.  Great hosts and B & B was very clean.  Brilliant location to explore the local area.  We hope to visit again - always more to see.

Welcoming B & B

Wonderful stay at Invercassley Cottage with Ash & Tracey. Not our first stay as we keep coming back and I’m not sure we’ll ever run out of places to explore as the list seems to get longer after every trip!

Fantastic location in the centre of the NC500, 40 minutes to both East and West coast. 

Ideal for a relaxing break with our highlights being the landscape photography, walking, fresh air and spotting wildlife.

Ash & Tracey made us feel so welcome and it’s always lovely to arrive after a long journey to a cup of tea and Tracey’s homemade cake. 

The B&B has very good facilities, very clean with a lovely kitchen, underfloor heating, and a cosy homely feel.

Had a great couple of nights  at invercassley cottage! Tracey was so welcoming and breakfast was fabulous. Could not fault in any way. Such a peaceful location with beautiful views great for walkers or just to get away to relax

Fabulous

Absolutely love this place and can't wait to come back again. Ash and Tracey are lovely hosts and nothing is too much. We loved learning about places to explore in and around the area as well as the wildlife tours led by Ash. It was our first time this far up in Scotland, but we totally fell in love with the area thanks to their knowledge and advice. It was great to see so much wildlife, even if some was slightly unexpected such as a very late juvenile Osprey fishing, although there is still so much more for us to see and some that evaded us. Looking forward to coming back.
