We stayed at this lovely guest house over a lng weekend. It is very well situated close to the historic market town of Ross on Wye and we spent several hour# wandering around.
Patrick was a fantastic host and cooked lovely breakfasts which set you up for the day and has a wealth of experience to keep you entertained. It was clear that a lot of care has gone into making the guest house Covid safe and we felt very relaxed. We would fully recommend a short or even longer stay

Superb accommodation

We had a comfortable stay with Patrick who had very thoughtfully gone through all changes relating to staying at the B and B in current circumstances. Linden guest house is 1 minute from the town centre and 1 minute from a park overlooking the river - beautiful!
We will be coming back next year. 

Short stay with friendly owner

I would echo all of the positive comments that I have read on here. Patrick is a fantastic host. Very friendly and makes a great breakfast. Rooms are lovely and light and spotlessly clean. Perfect location and a perfect stay. Thank you from the teachers! 

Highly recommend a stay here

We found Patrick and Claire to be excellent hosts, they were friendly and helpful and took great pains over ensuring that our stay was as risk free as possible in these difficult pandemic times.
Our room was bright clean and comfortable. 
Very conveniently positioned, the guest house is perfectly placed for the town centre with it's excellent range of pubs and restaurants. Would heartily recommend!

Lovely guest house in a lovely location.

great hosts, lovely breakfast, nice clean establishment in a quiet location close to town centre - nearby parking for a small charge (£5 for 24hrs), on street parking also available. plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby

As guests, grandson and I, were looked after and guided well through the guest house covid process.
Bedroom and breakfast was perfect with our host engaging In conversation through the table service breakfast.
Our cycles were stored securely in the back garden.  Definitely would recommend this establishment.

Paid 24 hr parking just up the road at just £5.

Linden Guest House - Wonderful

We stayed for 1 night during a kayak trip along the wye and enjoyed our stay.  The flexible self-check-in facility was very useful.  Breakfast was cooked to order and was good.  Our room had a pretty outlook towards the church and the location is handy for the town centre. 

Comfortable accommodation in a good location

A very enjoyable few days in Ross-on-Wye,
Started with the landlord phoning and giving me all the details for my arrival.
We checked in late and it wasn’t any problem at all. 
Room was great . Tea and coffee in the room was ideal. 
Breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent.
A pleasant couple of days spent at the Linden guest house.

A pleasant welcoming guest house

The house itself was not the most modern or luxurious, but this B&B still provided an excellent experience, largely because of the owner. Patrick clearly loves talking with his guests, and because of this, he is one of those unique people who can carry an intelligent conversation about any topic. It helped that he cooked breakfast in the same room where we ate, talking with us all the while. It gave us a better understanding of the town and its culture, as well as British current events. 

One caveat to be aware of: if you are an American of average girth, this might not be the most comfortable place because of a very tiny shower. If unsure, it would be wise to take a look first and make sure you can get through the door. Other than that, the room was very comfortable and certainly we enjoyed our stay.
