We had booked the Coach House for a long weekend as we wanted to visit the Big Apple Festival in Much Marcle. On arriving we had a lovely welcome from Iola and her husband and were showed to our well appointed room. The room was extremely comfortable with beautiful furnishings, an excellent bathroom and a really comfortable bed. 
Equally, breakfast in the dining room was very enjoyable with home made bread, an array of fruits, yoghurt, preserves and cereals, along with juice and excellent coffee. The eggs from the family chickens were cooked to perfection. 
We felt extremely welcome and comfortable here and Lily, our small dog was made to feel at home too. Nothing was too much trouble and Iola and her husband are an absolute delight! Will definitely stay again when back in the area. Thank you.

Wonderful relaxing stay.

A delightful stay at a welcoming home. I haven’t slept so well in months. Very peaceful and homely environment with hosts who are lovely. Highly recommended for work or pleasure. Great walks on the doorstep but some of the footpaths are quite overgrown so remember to bring your OS map!

Lovely stay

We stayed here as a family of four for a weekend and honestly could not fault it. Simply stunning location and beautiful b&b. Michael and Iola are the most delightful hosts you could wish for, so friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were immaculate and beds so cosy and comfortable. We were staying here whilst attending a family festival and found it so comfortable it was a struggle to leave and drag ourselves back out for the day !!
We highly recommend this as a b&b and without a doubt would definitely stay here again should we need any accommodation in this area. Thank you Iola for the fabulous scrambled eggs in the morning and to both Iola and Michael for making our stay so enjoyable. Lovely, lovely hosts.

Simply stunning !! Lovely hosts and the most amazing scrambled eggs breakfast.

We arrived as the sun was setting over the wonderful countryside surrounding the coach house to be welcomed by two of the most charming hosts you could wish to meet - and also David the highly inquisitive duck :)  Our rooms were spotlessly clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable for our one-night stay.  The views from the first floor are idyllic - rolling countryside as far as the eye can see.  The next morning, after a restful night, our breakfast was great, and was accompanied by a small sample of home-made port. Well, it's always 5pm somewhere in the world, right?  We left with warm wishes from our hosts for our onward journey.  I would highly recommend the Coach House as somewhere to truly get away from it all.

Delightful B&B with charming hosts

I first discovered this haven of a B&B in February 2017 when visiting the Forest of Dean. The hosts were warm and welcoming, the dog too! The en suite room was well turned out and bed, the best I’ve ever slept in for such a small establishment. The rest of the house and grounds were very well kept, along with chickens, quail and apple trees to guarantee fresh eggs and apple juice for breakfast in the morning. Parking was easy too. So I didn’t have a problem choosing it again for my second visit in June and it’s still a great place to stay. If you like wildlife, enjoy long walks and retreating to the countryside for a little peace and quiet, you’ll love The Coach House in Old Gore Herefordshire.

A haven of a B&B

My friend and I stayed here for just one night after the Malvern spring flower show, and it was idyllic. We had an amazing view out the bedroom window and a nice walk around the area. So friendly and hospitable.....even their little dog was and happily accompanied us on our walk in the area. If we are in the area again will definitely stay again.
