Lovely welcoming pub, food wonderful and prices not too bad (considering with the situation of the cost of living)

Will come again and hopefully not in the near distant future

The team were very welcoming, we pre booked food options and it was ready when we were ready. plenty of space inside, great food and service.

must give a big shout out for the best smelling male toilets I've been in :-)

Great pub and great food

Room was clean and warm, normal tea and coffee available in room,  slept well and good breakfast, also had a nice meal, dog friendly and even gave her a sausage for breakfast, found a good walk from pub to see local area.

Night away

We stayed here as a 1 night get away for our wedding anniversary. The location of the Robin Hood is very quiet and tranquil opposite the green. Room was very clean and modern with a decent double bed and shower etc. The food here is top quality with a great variety along with a good selection of real ales and wines. Hospitality 10/10 also, couldn’t do enough for you. Will definitely recommend to others.

Great Overnight Stay at The Robin Hood in Rowlands Castle

Last minute booking, when everywhere seemed to be booked up. Very easy booking and instant confirmation. Always a bit of a punt when you  are short of choice but the moment we entered the village and saw the exterior,we felt we had 'hit the bullseye' Set on the village green ...great location and a warm welcome from The staff... and even the owner  took time  to say hello. Nothing was too much trouble for them! Our room was beautifully furnished and comfortable, but the jewel in the crown? ...the dining! As its located off the beaten track a bit, we dined in house and what a decision! 
Pub food is often dismissed as bland and lacking in choice, I promise you this was one of the best meals I have eaten on the road, ..informed the chef was new.. what a find and addition to the staff she is! Beautifully cooked and presented it was almost a shame to eat it!....but it just made the whole experience a real pleasure!!....if you are heading this way check it out, and if you do eat in!!..... I will return there when the chance arrives...highly recommended.....well by me anyway!!

Like it's name....hit the target spot on!

What a lovely pub. My friend and I visited today for afternoon drinks and dinner. Starting initially in the front garden which offered a sunny spot which over looked the village green. Blankets were available should there be a need.  The pub was nicely decorated throughout with lots of quirky items, particularly liked the glassware which was crystal like in design.  A relaxing sofa would have topped the decor off but that’s just my personal taste.
The pub staff and patrons were friendly and helpful so much so we stayed for dinner. The food was tasty and served in good time. Nothing flash just honest pub food which we liked.
Definitely would visit again

Great friendly pub overlooking the green.

We met friends for supper at The Robin Hood. The waitress was super friendly and made us laugh. Our meals were tasty and with excellent service.  We will definitely return as we had a lovely relaxed evening. Very good value too.

Lovely place to stay. Relaxed atmosphere,and parking round the back of property

Room was clean,small,but fine for 2 of us.with everything you need...kettle,tea coffee. Etc

Amazing breakfast,cooked by a lovely chef who makes you feel more than welcome.

Lovely food in evening. Good customer service,and fair prices.

Lovely stay

Just reopened, after the lock down and a complete refurbishment, we were delighted with the friendly and efficient service of Chloe and her colleagues. Popular with locals and visitors, the Robin Hood has a cosy bar, a more spacious restaurant and a terrace overlooking the green. We ate fresh asparagus and local fish. Best to book.

Friendly village pub with good food

We must have had the smallest room  - ever. Would be too small for one person let alone two. No hanging space - nothing. But it was clean enough. 3 days was about the limit for the room. 
Even with the covid rules based nonsense the staff managed to be smily and poilite. breakfast was nice and food too. Location is quiet and if it is too quiet the pub closes early. We used as a base for Goodwood and the Witterings.
