So upon booking this apartment we spoke to a lady and told her our situation, our house had just sold we’re waiting for our new one to be finished and needed somewhere to stay for 3 weeks possibly longer, we needed somewhere we could live comfortable for 3 weeks and with a good internet speed so I can work from home. The lady assured us the apartments had new internet installed, very comfortable apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 double beds.

Upon arriving the apartment was mostly clean, we did find a face mask stuffed down the back of the sofa cushions but we could live with that. Later that night we also found that the double beds were actually single beds pushed together which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep(so imagine staying in them for 3 weeks). Also as we have a pet dog we asked for a room with a balcony only to be told that the apartments are all booked with long stays and non were available for us with a balcony, we booked the room thinking it came with a balcony due to the pictures.

After a hard nights sleep due to the noise outside which is also very loud due to being close to a couple of pubs we was still optimistic about our stay despite the few issues we had already noticed, me and my girlfriend both tried to have a shower and had to have cold showers for the first 3 nights we stayed which was very unpleasant also in both bathrooms there was a horrible sewer smell which made us want to spend as little time in the bathrooms as possible as the smell was awful.

Then came around Monday and it was time for me to work from home using my laptop, the internet speed was awfully slow almost unusable and I certainly wasn’t able to work using it, I tested the internet and it was getting below 1mb per second and we was assured the apartments have had new internet install and although the lady wasn’t sure of the speed I would be able to work from home using it, obviously I wasn’t as the speed was atrocious and un useable, I even paid £60 for a Wireless 4G hub which was also deemed useless because both mine and my partners phone got 1 or 0 bar signal anytime we was in the building (outside was fine but I obviously can’t work outside). So due to us being misled about this I suffered a loss of earnings for the 3 week days I actually stayed at the apartment.

We sent an email and raised a few issues we had hoping to get them sorted and the next day I had the unpleasant surprise of a bang on the door very loud at about 11am, I answered and it was the cleaning lady trying to give me a police style interrogation on the door step about where and how we had found a face mask behind the couch, the lady was completely rude and offered no apology or sympathy and basically called me a liar. At this point everything had become too much and we booked another apartment so I didn’t suffer anymore loss of earnings and I was very dissatisfied with the way they went about resolving the situation, after telling the manager about the way the cleaning lady spoke to me she did then apologise to me and offered me a room with a balcony (which I’d been told wasn’t available on my first day of checking in) as a way to make amends. Obviously the balcony was a small issue compared to some of the others so this was not enough to persuade me to stay and we left on Thursday morning.

After we left they basically didn’t care about any complaints we had made, we did ask for a refund and said we don’t mind being charged for 7 nights out of the 3 week booking due to the inconvenience but this place is not suitable for a 3 week stay and we felt we had been misled about a few things when enquiring before we booked. We was denied a refund and haven’t heard much back since so now I am writing a review incase anybody else was looking at these apartments for a stay longer than a night or two I seriously would not recommend it.

I am now left out of pocket with 3 days wages, £1620 the fee we paid for 21 nights and also another £1300 for the apartment (which for the record is cheaper and 10x better) we had to book to get out of there. 

If you’re staying for a night or two and aren’t spending much time in the apartment then maybe it’s worth booking as it is close to the city centre and also has on site free parking but I would say it is definitely not suitable for long stays main reasons being…

1. It’s very loud at night the windows and doors aren’t very soundproof
2. It isn’t the most modern/comfortable apartment it has a TV which isn’t a smart TV in the front room and it isn’t the  biggest by a long stretch.
3. If internet is needed or a constant good signal on your phone then it isn’t very suitable for your needs either.
4. The water seems to go from hot to cold whenever it feels like, was never able to have a proper shower without the water going cold after a couple of minutes. Also an unpleasant sewer smell in both bathrooms coming from pipes I think.
5. The staff/management aren’t very helpful if you have any issues in my experience anyway.

Awful stay, booked for 3 weeks and paid £1620, left after 5 unbearable days.

Stayed here with 2 friends as part of my husband’s 50th birthday celebrations weekend. The apartment is a great size - we had 2 rooms, 1 double and 1 twin; absolutely perfect for us. Two bathrooms too. Kitchen/dining/living area is a great, social space and the kitchen well equipped. Despite it’s central location, there were no noise disturbances through the night and we slept well and comfortably. Secure car parking was a bonus. Thoroughly recommend.

Great location and great space

Great wee apartment with onsite parking. Ideal location just a 5 minute walk from Spinningfields. Clean and fit for purpose with everything you need with convenience store literally 2 minutes away. Also quiet.

Weekend in Manchester

We stayed in a 2 bed apartment for a long weekend. 1 room was ensuite. Thr apartment was nice and clean. Beds were comfortably. There are restuarnts within a 10mins walking distance. Rooms are a decent size and there a very small car park on site. The lady who met us on arrival was very helpful and nice. Would stay here again.

Clean and fit for purpose 

Lovely apartments, really central with everything you could want.
The beds were really comfortable and it was just perfect for a weekend away. Kitchen was well equipped and the booking couldn't have been easier! 
Secure parking space was a bonus as well! 
Very much recommend! 

Fantastic stay!

Was v reasonable compared to hotel for our two night break. Well appointed, nothing lacking in kitchen, bedrooms or bathroom, well maintained and clean. Good service from staff, and easy to use booking system. Modern, spacious and warm. V comfy beds. Good to see kids catered for too in terms of cot and high chair. A god base for mini break!
Secure parking helps. Don't be put off by slightly down at heel location, it has all you need!

Good apartment value wise and central location

The apartment is a good size and we stayed inbetween Christmas and New Year with 2 adults and 2 teenagers.  We were met at the flat by the key holder who showed us around.  We were up one floor (there is a lift) and in flat 2.  The flat had a good size lounge and kitchen, which had basic tea, coffee, milk and cleaning stuff, and had a dishwasher and large fridge freezer.  There is a washing machine and storage cupboard, 2 double bedrooms one ensuite and a large bathroom with bath.  The apartment did have a few issues like a leaky shower that meant the wall was quite damaged in one bathroom and a hairdryer that had a faulty plug but overall it was a good apartment.  Location was right next to Salford central Station (not open all hours so check before you go), there is a 24 hour supermarket 2 min for the apartment and a Tesco about 5 min walk, the secure parking is excellent and there is a secure entry system.  We used Urber taxis a lot to get about but if you use a regular service be aware there are two Bloom Streets in Manchester.   The Chinese below the apartment is excellent and there is free wifi.

Spacious flats with secure parking

Great value apartment. Well situated withing a short 5 minutes walk from deansgate shopping centre and lots or resteraunts, pubs and clubs.

Off road private parking in secure carpark.

Apartment well kitted out and very clean and tidy. 

Could easily accomodate two couples of a family of four.

Little noisy at night if you like to leave the windows open, but if you close windows its pretty quiet.
