1st visit to this hotel with Alfa Coach company. Hotel is right on seafront opposite Sandown pier great views from room 208 . Warm welcome from the managers of the hotel, staff are friendly and help in anyway they can. You cannot fault any member of staff from maintenance/clearers/restaurant/bar/waiters/waitresses/chefs. Wide variety of breakfast and evening meals and on your rest day a lunch can be brought well worth it. 
Evening entertainment where the staff join in and have fun with the guests. On the Thursday evening we enjoyed a trip to the theatre at Shanklin too watch  show cost was £25.00 again well worth it . On leaving the hotel we could buy a packed lunch for £4.95 but you could add extras.

Brilliant Staff and Hotel

Super stay. Food was terrific and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Hotel is situated right on the beach with awesome views. A great Alpha holiday at a brilliant hotel. Thanks to all the staff at Bayshore. Very highly recommended in every way possible, if you want to enjoy a superior stay in a friendly atmosphere.

Clean, pleasant and great fun.

We have just returned from a short holiday to the Bayshore in Sandown.
Our room was fab. Views to watch all the ships entering Southampton.  Didn't realise there was so much traffic on the water.
Our one comment was the pick up and crossover at  the services, which was poor.
But otherwise it was an excellent holiday. Thank you

Holiday with friend

The staff are very good nothing was to much trouble for anyone, service with a smile I would say especially Josh . The food was very good, The singer called Dougie Stephens was pleasant to listen to.    The room was comfortable and the towels were changed when requested.

Our visit to the Bayshore Hotel last week was amazing with Alfa coaches,driver Ian was extremely funny (in a ha ha way!!!) & all of the staff at the hotel were polite & helpful……with special mention to a young lad called Josh & a member of the bar staff (I think he was anyway) who was amazed with how I payed for our drinks using my watch!!! Over all it was an amazing holiday experience & we would definitely return to Bayshore again & recommend to friends & family alike!!! Made a few great friends too!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ holiday!!! 😊😎😊😎😊

Just enjoyed a lovely week at this hotel.
All areas very clean.
Waiting staff very helpful 
Food wholesome
Great location.
Well stocked bar.
Evening entertainment subject to your taste.
Reception staff a little light on understanding English.

Very enjoyable week

We have just returned from a Alfa Travel coach trip on the Isle of Wight.
The Bayshore Hotel has a great position on the Sea front. 
We paid a little extra for a Sea view which was well worth it.
Our room was a good size the rooms were kept spotlessly clean.
Breakfast is very good with so much choice.
All the Staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful
Special mentions to Claudiu our waiter for all our meals always happy great personality nothing was too much trouble for him.
Judith behind the bar gave wonderful service and as a local of the Isle of Wight was so happy to share her great knowledge of the Island which was much appreciated.  

Great Hotel wonderful position 

Good position, right on the seafront, nice clean rooms, friendly staff and good food apart from one night when I disliked the options and asked for a plain omelette instead but was flatly refused so I went without a main meal that evening.
The Sandown area is rather run down with many shops closed.  

Bayshore Hotel with Alfa Travel

Nice sea view location, room was big and clean, the staff was polite too.
Had a bit of a problem with breakfast timings, so the service level is not that great, lack of good management I guess.
Will not go back.

Nice hotel with average service level.

Though the hotel is a little rundown, it was clean and tidy and the overworked staff were pleasant and helpful and our seaview room was comfortable.
Unfortunately the rigidly set meal times  8oc breakfast and 6 oc dinner and substandard food completely let the hotel  down. So much so that we decided to eat out at further cost to our holiday.
A lesson learned perhaps for daring to request later meal times as everyone else appeared to be happy with the food they were served. Ours however was awful.
Our complaint to Alfa has gone unheeded as the restaurant manager claims we were offered 7.15 evening meal which is totally untrue .
We will never book with Alfa again
