Just enjoyed a lovely week at this hotel.
All areas very clean.
Waiting staff very helpful 
Food wholesome
Great location.
Well stocked bar.
Evening entertainment subject to your taste.
Reception staff a little light on understanding English.

Very enjoyable week

We have just returned from a Alfa Travel coach trip on the Isle of Wight.
The Bayshore Hotel has a great position on the Sea front. 
We paid a little extra for a Sea view which was well worth it.
Our room was a good size the rooms were kept spotlessly clean.
Breakfast is very good with so much choice.
All the Staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful
Special mentions to Claudiu our waiter for all our meals always happy great personality nothing was too much trouble for him.
Judith behind the bar gave wonderful service and as a local of the Isle of Wight was so happy to share her great knowledge of the Island which was much appreciated.  

Great Hotel wonderful position 

Good position, right on the seafront, nice clean rooms, friendly staff and good food apart from one night when I disliked the options and asked for a plain omelette instead but was flatly refused so I went without a main meal that evening.
The Sandown area is rather run down with many shops closed.  

Bayshore Hotel with Alfa Travel

Nice sea view location, room was big and clean, the staff was polite too.
Had a bit of a problem with breakfast timings, so the service level is not that great, lack of good management I guess.
Will not go back.

Though the hotel is a little rundown, it was clean and tidy and the overworked staff were pleasant and helpful and our seaview room was comfortable.
Unfortunately the rigidly set meal times  8oc breakfast and 6 oc dinner and substandard food completely let the hotel  down. So much so that we decided to eat out at further cost to our holiday.
A lesson learned perhaps for daring to request later meal times as everyone else appeared to be happy with the food they were served. Ours however was awful.
Our complaint to Alfa has gone unheeded as the restaurant manager claims we were offered 7.15 evening meal which is totally untrue .
We will never book with Alfa again

We could not fault the Bayshore Hotel, the rooms were spotless, the food was lovely and all the staff were Brilliant, very efficient and hard working, the Kitchen staff are amazing from Roxanna to Milly, it is Fantastic value for money. it was half term so families with children were also staying at the hotel. we went with Alfa Travel and we will be booking with Alfa again. everyone staying at the hotel had said they had enjoyed themselves.  we never stopped laughing, we did not play the bingo of an evening but the prize money was good and most enjoyed it. and then a singer on in the evening, the drinks were really cheap at the bar, it`s nice to have a cocktail or Pink Gin if your on holiday.
so do not have any worries about booking it, it`s in a great location easy to get to other parts of the island. all in all a Fantastic week was had by all.

take loose fitting clothes as 3 courses for 9am breakfast & evening meal.  we had a full breakfast every day, so we would only need to buy a drink while out and about ,  evening meal is at 7pm lovely not having to cook.

Great Value, Good Location, Great Food, Friendly Staff & Spotless

I took my son to the Bayshore for our half term holiday beginning on May 27th. We travelled with Alfa coaches as I am a single parent so it was nice to be in a group. The hotel is fantastic we had a sea view and it was well worth it. Our room was massive with 3 beds and loads of space, spotlessly clean and plenty of towels. The hotel is in an ideal location opposite the beach so literally you can nip for a swim before dinner. The good at the hotel is good but does cater for an older clientele - because there was no kids menu our waiter Claudio, prepared something special for my son everyday which was brilliant. My son absolutely loved it and we would definitely recommend for families we will definitely be returning next year - thank you to everyone at the hotel for making it a brilliant holiday!

great holiday

Stayed with an Alpha holidays tour. The hotel was clean & efficiently run, the rooms were comfortable, the food very good,  & the staff were  very helpful. Entertainment was bingo & a singer. Bus stop & a regular bus service nearby. Excellent base for touring the Isle of Wight.

Your holiday is what you make it. Myself and 5 friends just spent 5 days here and we had no complaints. The rooms were comfortable, the food for the money was excellent and the entertainment ranged from good to fantastic. Our trips out were very good and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us
