A lovely welcome from Marianne. The room was cosy, spotlessly clean, and comfy. Tea and coffee facilties. The bed was very comfy, and we had a great night sleep. There is a lovely communal area you can eat and make food, drinks and just relax. We played board games and had some drinks. Marianne has thought of everything. The entrance area is beautifully decorated and homely and welcoming. Parking was fine but may struggle during busier times. We would definitely stay again.

Brilliant stay

Very comfortable and welcoming. Marianne is a very friendly host and North Sands Lodge is homely and very well situated for access to both North and South Bay. It’s room only but there is a great cafe for breakfast only two doors away. A perfect place from which to explore.

Friendly and welcoming.

Lovely clean room.. Excellent customer service..marianne Very friendly couldn't do more. Will return for another stay.  We had the family room which had double bed and bunk beds. Anything we needed was there

Cleanliness 💯 room lovely staff couldn't do enough bed so comfy would highly recommend going value money relaxing break was needed and definitely got it there can't wait to go back there is an area to prep and cook foid

I've rated this 5 but would have put 6 if I could the lady who runs this should set a school up to all new hotel owners on how to look after customers she is fantastic the hotel is very clean and well presented the rooms are lovely and only a few minutes walk to most things in Scarborough very highly recommend book this hotel you will not be disappointed 

Lovely hotel 

Warm welcome on arrival from host Marianne. Marianne rang to offer us an early check in which was appreciated.  Free roadside parking available with permit provided. We were 2 friends and had booked a double room. Marianne kindly moved us into the family room so we had separate beds and more space. Room was very warm, clean and comfortable with special touches and decor. Slept well in comfortable beds. Although breakfast is not provided there is a kitchen where you can take your own food to cook if you require. There is also 10% off food at the corner cafe for hotel guests. Good value for money, would highly recommend.  Good location close to all amenities.  Would definitely return.

North Sands lodge, home from home

Me & my wife booked 2 nights in Scarborough and chose North Sands because of the reviews. We noticed Marianne was mentioned a lot and when you finally arrive, you can see why. Very welcoming, knowledgeable about the area with plenty of recommendations for where to eat, where to go etc and a lovely lady. A Very clean place and most importantly pet friendly which was also a factor in booking at North Sands. Highly recommend a stay here, totally enjoyed it 👍😁

Fantastic place to stay

We have just returned home after a 2 night stay, and we had a great time, Marianne is very welcoming and so helpful. We stayed in room 4 which tastefully decorated and furnished, and spotlessly clean.
We will certainly return.

Lovely stay

We’ve just got home from a 2 night stay here. Such a lovely place to stay. Marianne is a great host and immediately made us feel comfortable. The whole place was spotless and the decor is so cute! Would 100% recommend

Super cute!

Really lovely place! Was greeted at the door and was able to put our bags in the room early so we could go and enjoy our day. Extremely lovely and chatty host. The room was beautiful (room 5) and filled with everything you could have wanted. We didn’t use the shared facilities but plenty of room and facilities to cook and relax outside of the room. Would definitely look at staying here again if we came back.
