Go 3 times a year great hotel and staff clean fab breakfast internet TV lounge you can keep your drinks in with glasses and ici central for all areas of scarborough in between bays and near town center

Best b&b in scarbados been every very since god know when and always made wellcome nice rooms great breakfast very handy for everything irene ken and family and staff really look after guests this is 3rd stay this year be back next year thanks to all

On arriving at the premises I went to get a parking permit I could hear the owner named Irene telling her husband
I've arrived for my room she actually said he's bloody massive.(shocked)                                         Tbh the owner still looked drunk from the night before.
On going into the room it's never a 4* room I've stopped in better youth hostels.
Bathroom was a joke very old doors and cheap furniture.
Strong smell of glue in the room in the afternoon next to us looked like a store cupboard not sure what was happening in there. 
On the plus side I never saw the owner again and the 2 ladies doing breakfast were amazing.
They are fantastic and if they run a b&b it would be great  credit to them.
I don't write a lot of bad reviews and tbh I feel some reviews clouded my judgement on booking this place.
Take it from me this place is a 2* at most but the breakfast service was 5* credit lady's but if I was you get from the place looks like your wasted there.

Never a 4* room

Family run hotel. Found them to be Friendly and helpful.  Had a good, large room with sea view. Bed comfortable and room clean

As withost older  traditio.sl hotels the stairs were a little steep. Parking can be scarce.


Bed & breakfast.  We found food to be very good.ery good 

The selomar hotel is in a fabulous location its close to Scarborough Castle pubs and shops the hotel is spotlessly clean we stayed in a family room with a fantastic sea the room was beautifully furnished and the ensuite was brilliant the breakfast was just amazing the family and staff that run this hotel were warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble we will definitely be returning to this hotel we absolutely loved our stay here and would most definitely recommend this hotel its a credit to all who help run this fab hotel .

Selomar fabulous hotel 

After finding this place via booking.com we had to unfortunately cancel, booking directly with the owners a week later. When contacting the hotel & speaking with the owners they were more than helpful to arrange different dates.

Once we arrived in the afternoon for our 3 nights stay, we were greeted by both of the owners who were full of smiles.

We stayed in room 4, which is large family sea view room on the 1st floor. One double bed, bunk bed, shower room, plus standard furniture. Tea & coffee facilities are available in the room. 

Breakfast is served daily between 08:30 & 09:30, serving cooked breakfasts, cereal, tea & coffee.

The hotel is an ideal location with views of Scarborough North Bay, being able to see the sun set on an evening.

Our daughters first beach holiday

Clean, comfortable and friendly. Front of building rooms have spectacular views.
Breakfasts are prompt and delicious ( no pre orders but no long waits)
As with all hotels in this area parking can be difficult later in the day in high season.

Early summer stay

Brilliant place to stay with the family. Breakfast great and parking permit in with the price. Sea-views to die for. Staff welcoming and approachable. Already looking to book another stay as soon as possible

Selomar Excellent

Welcomed on arrival by lovely hosts. Given a parking permit for our stay, was able to park right outside. Room spotless along with the rest of the hotel. Breakfast great. Location very quiet, but very central for North and South bays and the town centre. Great views fom Hotel, our room was at the back but still great view of South Bay. All in all fantastic value for money. Will definitely stay here again.

Relaxing break

My partner and I stayed here over the August bank holiday for 5 nights and we couldn’t fault the place. The room was very clean and had all the facilities you needed. The breakfast is lovely and the ladies serving the breakfast was very polite, friendly and helpful when we asked about the area, it is in a great position for the open air theatre which we went on two evenings while we were there. We would highly recommend this B&B it is on the sea front which from our room we had fantastic views. The only thing missing is a small coffee table to put our tea on while we enjoyed the views.
