It was our first visit to this guest house 
We was greeted with a warm welcome
We had a lovely room at the front of the guest house.
With sea view and looking over north side of Scarborough and Scarborough castle
We was the only guests in 
When we stayed
We have read this year on your site 
That this guest house is temporary closed
Which is really sad here .
As we wanted to book in and stay 
There again this year 
We do hope that they can recover
And start to take in guest bookings again for next year 2025

Location was perfect for us to walk to the open air theta, and not too far away from the town centre and local bars, and restaurants, fantastic sea view, our host was so informative, our room was spotlessly clean, can highly recommend you pay that little bit extra and book the breakfast deal I promise you, you will not be disappointed,we managed to get parked right out our guest house with a parking permitted supplied to us by our host, at no extra cost

Had another fantastic long weekend at the maricia bed is so comfy slept like a baby breakfast is brilliant sets you up for the day Joanne is an amazing host treats you like family no matter how busy she is she always makes time to talk to us definitely home from home see you next year xx

Scarborough at its best 

From the moment we were greeted at the door by the landlady, to having slept in a cosy warm room and clean bed, and then going on to the next morning having eaten a beautiful breakfast. 11 out of 10👍

11 out of 10 definitely worth a visit

First time staying here and we were given a very friendly welcome, hearty breakfast and great sea views in a traditional bed and breakfast on the stunning Yorkshire coast. Listening to the sea at night was a joy. 

Really nice place to stay 

Great Location, good value
Me and my partner stayed for a night during the heat wave. The guest house is very clean and tidy. We were on the 1st floor in the small room shared shower. It had a great view of the north side beach and was a few minutes walking down, how ever was a workout getting back up but it was fine. Checked in and out with no problems. Car permit allowed a till next day parking. All in all good experience.

Great hotel, convenient location

Myself and my partner stayed at the Mirica Guest House for a two night stay. The location was perfect! The walk to the beach was five minutes down a path, a little steep but we didn’t mind. Parking wasn’t a problem, because we were the last guests we were given the owners space which was literally behind the guest house. We were greeted almost immediately when we got there with open arms, we were given keys which were for our room and the front door. There was a bell at the front desk which you could ring if you needed anything. We were able to keep a birthday cake in the fridge without an issue.

 We were up the stairs in room 6 with an en-suite. The room was narrow but long, comfortable double bed, lights above the bed, two mirrors, a dressing table, wardrobe and a Flat screen tv with freeview. The bathroom had a mirror, shower and included soap and shower gel. It wasn’t a major issue for us but the bathroom was very small and the shower was very tight to get in. Again this didn’t ruin our trip or affect our stay! 

The location was ideal! Right near the beach which was filled with little shops and bars. The park was less than a five minute walk away where you could go on boats and peddle. Nearby the park was cute cafes! The town was again less than five minute walk away filled with places to eat, drink, souvenir shops, shopping ect.

Birthday Getaway

What a fabulous experience we had staying here, very clean, comfortable room, excellent hostess, superb breakfast. 

Excellent location especially if you are using the Scarborough open air theatre. 

We stayed in the en-suite room number 4, fantastic sea view.

Great Value, Great location

I stayed here with my partner for 2 nights in June. We were greeted by the owner, a lovely, friendly lady, very helpful. Our room was number 4, en-suite overlooking the sea, absolutely amazing views. 
The room itself was lovely and clean, fresh towels, tea and coffee and clean cups and glasses. 
We managed to park outside but parking did look like it might be an issue, you do however get a free permit and the range is on several streets. 
We were given fresh towels the next day, and our room was tidied. 
The bed was extremely comfortable, lovely plump pillows. I really appreciated the travel hair dryer that I found in the drawer as well, as I’d forgotten to bring mine.
We didn’t have breakfast but it did smell amazing. 
The guesthouse is conveniently located and everything is within walking distance (beach/shops).
We will definitely be back, the owner clearly works extremely hard to keep this place in tip top condition and running smoothly.

Amazing views, lovely guesthouse

Me and my Friend stayed here for 2 nights it was greqt the room was great and breakfast 1 of best we had . It's in great location  5 minutes from the town. The host very welcoming too we both loved it and can't wait to be back again
