We stayed for 2 nights, the room was clean & had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable! Easy parking and close to everything in the town so popping out to get breakfast was simple. Staff were friendly and helpful when we left something behind. Really cute westie in the office

Clean, comfortable & dog friendly

We stayed 4 nights in this AA2star rated hotel. You basically have expectations which go with the rating so when you get great service, quality food, fantastic staff, a lovely,well equipped room and a parking space outside the door, then a 5 star rating is well deserved. 
The welcome from Karen was warm and friendly and the place was full of staff who had the same attitude. We checked in on the day of the State funeral so couldn’t eat at the hotel ( but the restaurant is closed on Monday evening anyway). The bar was open and lively and reinforced the good feel about the place. Liked the price of the drinks too!
We stayed in The Snug - very comfortable and well equipped. 
Breakfasts (ordered the evening before) were excellent and Ross was a very efficient server. 
We made frequent use of the bar in the evenings; lots of very friendly locals. 
Only had dinner on one evening but what a dinner. Steak night was brilliant and great value. 
A wonderful stay, lovely people and every reason to return - 400 miles is a bit far to think of it as a local!

2star hotel but 5 star service

We went here for steak night. The restaurant was very busy. The blonde haired lady waitressing was here, there and everywhere!, very much multitasking! She tried to keep everyone happy. They obviously need more staff, but this lady was good.
The steak was delicious and the coronet pudding went down a treat. The price was very reasonable on their Wednesday steak night

Steak night

We went as a family of 8 for Sunday lunch based on trip advisor reviews. We all had a delicious Sunday lunch with gorgeous food, followed by amazing desserts. The honeycomb  cheescake was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Sunday lunch

We stayed in “The Snug” (separate room in annexe, with its own car park space).  This seemed almost brand new. Huge bed, very large room, air con, massive TV, great size bathroom.  Everything was spotless.
We ate in the Links for both evening meal and breakfast. Both were superb. Quickly served, tasty, great portions.
Very happy to stay there again and to recommend.

Clean, comfortable and good value

After getting a few days off work we decided to book a last minute deal hotel in Seahouses and came across this hotel. We paid £116 for one night B&B in the 'Snug'. The room is set away from the hotel with it's own parking space so it's very private. The room itself was very big with nice modern decor, the whole room was immaculate. The bed was hiue and extremely comfortable, had a great nights sleep. We had a few drinks on the night time in the bar and played some darts, the barmaid was very welcoming and it had a lovely atomosphere. Breakfast was served very quickly, you are given a bit of paper so you can fill in what you want to have and give it to staff prior to your breakfast. Breakfast was very nice we had a full english with toast, jan, coffee and juice. 
I would highly recommend this hotel. We will be back.

Lovely Stay

I didn’t realised I had booked a 2 star hotel and thought it would just be ok. We were pleasantly surprised when we got to the hotel first we arrived early and was met by a lovely lady to check us in very friendly and helpful. We got our room straight away no hassle. When we entered the back way up the fire escape from the car park you got the old building smell but wasn’t unpleasant. Our room was at the end of the building it was very large and clean. You got the basic stuff, tea making facilities, one bedside table, 2 floor standing lamps and a chair, but the bed was very large and very comfortable we had a really good nights sleep. The bathroom was fairly small but big enough for us. You also got a fan heater if your room wasn’t hot enough with the radiator. Believe me it did warm the room after awhile. 
The food was very good we ate in the restaurant but you could eat in the bar area if you preferred my husband had the fish goujons I had prawns he had chilli con carni and I had scampi they were delicious. We didn’t have a desert as we were full. The next morning we had breakfast it was enormous if you have a full breakfast and add toast we couldn’t finish it all but was very good.
We had drinks in the bar again very clean and welcoming, the lady behind the bar was very friendly chatty and professional. She then welcomed us for breakfast the next day.
The hotel is on the main road through seahouses but with the windows closed you didn’t hear it. Also it is only a 5 minute walk from the sea. It really is a nice quaint place to visit. 
We would definitely return to this hotel again and have already recommended it to some friends.
On a end note they followed covid rules mask wearing was required when entering until sat down. All tables sanitised when customers left and staff wore masks.

Very nice overnight stay

We ate three times at the Links Hotel during our stay in Seahouses. The menu is extensive and there are also additional Specials - like Chicken Supreme smothered in Stilton. The food is well-presented and very tasty! The portions are generous. The Staff are friendly and very efficient. We ate in the Bar area so that we could take our dog,  but there is also the restaurant. We would thoroughly recommend a meal at the Links.

Stayed in the Snug for one night bed and breakfast
The room is separate from the main hotel and is a large very well appointed room which is tastefully decorated and very comfortable
We had breakfast in the main part of the hotel which had plenty of choice and was very good quality. The service provided by the staff on reception and in the dining room was very good
In spite of being on a main road the room was quiet and we had a good nights sleep

Large Room and Nice Breakfast

Easy check in, easy check out! No problem with parking. Couldn't fault the cleanliness and the room was perfect for an overnight stay.  The breakfast was lovely although we would have preferred a bit later breakfast but this is just a minor point. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.
