Great hosts

This is a really nice place, pleasant clean room, lovely breakfast, and the hosts Donna and Paul are really lovely people, and there aren’t many times you can say that but they will do anything to help make your stay special, we really enjoyed our stay there!!

Lovely people and smashing place to stay.

We had a super 4 nights stay at Megstone House. Ideally located for a relaxing  stay in a quiet part of Seahouses, but just a 15 minute walk into town. The couple that own and run the B&B are very friendly, kind and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was spotless clean as was the rest of the house and the breakfast was just amazing. We would highly recommend a stay at Megstone House and be assured you will be well looked after by Donna and Paul. A1 and 5 stars from us.

This was a wonderful b&b we stayed at in Seahouses. Paul & Donna were amazing hosts. Our four poster bedroom was very spacious, spotlessly clean and very quiet. The tea tray was generously stocked and Donna offered us fresh milk every day. Breakfast was amazing with lovely cooked local produce and the fresh fruit was exceptional. Our stay was made extra special by Paul and Donna with Paul even taking us through to Banbrugh when the local bus didn’t turn up. It’s a place where you arrive as guests but leave as friends. We will definitely return.

Fantastic place to stay

Donna and Paul make you so welcome and provide local information fir places of interest.  Nothing too much trouble. 
Clean,  comfy, very adequate room with the little extra touches
Breakfast was amazing, again, they will accommodate your requirements

Welcoming and enjoyable

Donna and Paul were fantastic hosts,they were very friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely and the bed very comfy. The breakfast was really nice with plenty of options. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again. 

A Weekend In Seahouses

We had a brilliant stay this weekend at Megstone House. Donna and Paul welcomed us like old friends, they are so personable. The room was amazing, beautiful 4-poster bed, lovely big chairs to relax in and plenty of drawers and a spacious wardrobe to put luggage in. The bathroom was spacious with a nice shower and complimentary toiletries. Excellent selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate and fresh milk was available in a flask. So many options for breakfast too! We will definitely be back, thank you for your kindness Donna and Paul. 

Lovely hosts 😊

Very friendly and hospitable hosts who went out of their way to make my stay more enjoyable:  making evening meal restaurant bookings for me, giving me a lift to the restaurant in the pouring rain and fetching me home again and even giving me a lift into Bamburgh on the day I moved on.  Excellent porridge and a bus stop across the road.  I thoroughly recommend.

Hospitable, comfortable, friendly

Where do I begin ?? From start to finish it was brilliant.  Donna and Paul were amazing hosts, nothing ( and I mean nothing) was too much trouble.  We had a phone call on the way to say our room was ready and what a room it was !!! The bedroom was really big with enough tea,coffee ,chocolate etc to last a week and still we was asked everyday if we need top ups.  Even fresh milk was left outside the door and the biscuits were to die for. At the side of the bedroom was another small room complete with easy chair and cabinet. Both rooms looked out over a pretty little garden.  Next to the room was a lovely bathroom with shower, everything spotlessly clean.  The breakfasts were delicious and filling.  However, it was the little things that to me made all the difference.  I was struggling with a mouth ulcer and the next thing there was a carton of salt  handed over.  We were even given bottles of water to take out and restaurants booked for us  for evening meals.  I could go on and on but would 100% recommend this lovely couple.  Thankyou Donna and Paul for making our break special x

What an amazing stay !!

 Donna and Paul were fabulous
excellent breakfast and lovely clean room , they were very  helpful   in every way 
This has got to be    a   5 STAR
