Writing this review whilst lay in the hotels comfiest bed after a lovely two night stay.

We visited Settle as a little getaway to celebrate a special occassion and needed a hotel to fit the bill and this place certainly did just that.

We were welcomed on arrival by the most lovely staff and given a complimentary upgrade which was a wonderful suprise.

The room was gorgeous. High ceilings, sparkling clean, the most comfortable bed and pillows, large window with fabulous views and a modern bathroom with a lovely big bath.

We ate both nights in the restaurant and the food and service were great. Again, staff went above and beyond.

There is a great choice on offer for breakfast, from full English, veggie, eggs benedict, eggs royale and even porridge with a dram! 

I loved the decor of this place. Really in keeping with the building. The roaring log fires and perfect.

Would most definately make a return visit and be recommending to friends and family.

Fabulous Falcon

Stayed here for two nights when my son got married and I must say the service, rooms, food and staff are fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and we were never made to feel like we were asking something that they could not accommodated. We highly recommend this hotel thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making the day run so smoothly

Amazing place staff make the stay

Best Sunday lunches in Settle. Fantastic and attentive staff. I live locally and literally feel like I am amongst friends every time I visit. Two fires to choose from on a chilly day, beautiful gardens on a warm one. Dog friendly, loads of parking… all the practicalities. Genuinely love the place.

Added coming here to our list of James's Places stays as been to quite a few so was our first visit, greeted by lovely fire as was early so parked car and walked into Settle only 5 min walk, returned had a couple of drinks and shown to room, room was small and bathroom smaller but was lovely and bed comfy and pillows bedding fabulous, i have to say the staff made this, as bless Clare and Chris they was run ragged but did the most excellent job, was so short staffed its a shame but what a fantastic job they did, we did run late on our evening meal but that was fine, meal lovely (lamb a little tough) but no complaints otherwise, we got on a black Friday deal so was a bargain for what we had, lovely hotel in great location  with the best staff they should be recognized for how efficiently they ran her on Sunday single handed, shame for them really as its a big hotel and would benefit more staff. Food at night was much better than Assheton Arms been recently.

What a fantastic hotel this is, made my wife so happy, great fire place as you enter to the very professional staff, if I was getting married I'd put that at top of my list, our room was perfect big bath in the bay window, definitely big enough for two

60th Suprise  

Enjoyed a wonderful champagne afternoon tea with friends . Perfect place to spoil yourself . We had the champagne choice and weren’t disappointed . We received a lively welcome and were shown to the small side room where tea had been set up . Everything was served quickly and a very good mixed selection of savoury and sweet ( we had been asked on booked if there were any dietary requirements ) it was completed with lots of tea and we certainly were t rushed at all- can’t recommend enough and I’ve had lots of afternoon teas 😂 we will be back very soon - thank you

Fabulous afternoon tea

We loved our stay at the Falcon Manor Hotel.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious- we had breakfast and evening meal. Food was freshly cooked and reasonably priced.
The room felt luxurious, even though we only paid for a standard double. Chandeliers and tall ceilings. Quality toiletries too. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Great base for our 3 Peaks walk.

Luxury break for standard price 

Beautiful Hotel in a lovely part of the National Park. The room was better than expected(room 1) with a Queensize (6ft) bed. We booked a standard double/twin but it felt more like a deluxe with separate shower room and lovely deep bath tub in a raised platform in the window. Dinner was excellent and great value for money. We phoned directly and got an all inclusive deal. Breakfast was also exceptional. The staff were courteous and extremely good at their jobs. The pictures do leave you to believe it is more remote than its actual location which is on a main road. Though traffic was quite loud during the day, it wasn’t at night so had a very good nights sleep so don’t let this put you off. Drinks before dinner were taken outside on a lovely sunny terrace. The village of Setttle is delighted and only a 5 minute walk away. This is the perfect place to stay if you are heading to Scotland and want to also see a bit of Yorkshire. We did a 10k hikew on the Pennine way which is only a 20 mins drive away. Totally blown away with the Yorkshire countryside. A gem of a place.

A beautiful old hotel with modern luxury features and excellent food.

Absolutely beautiful stay here. Staff & General Manager were excellent, very accommodating & friendly. Dinner was gorgeous- so tasty & breakfast was top notch. We enjoyed everything about Falcon Manor. Room was spacious enough, bed was comfortable & the hotel is so peaceful. It was snowing whilst here & this added to the wonderful experience we had. Thank you for your hospitality Falcon Manor.

We went today to view for our wedding, the staff where so welcoming and friendly couldn't do enough for us, we stayed and had some lunch and the food was lovely too. Although we might not book our wedding here I would definitely recommend going for some lunch or drinks.
