What was good

Staff attitude and adaptability. Covid and refurbishment are both problems but the entire team is positive. They have big dreams, involving the bars, function rooms and outdoor space so I think this is most certainly a hotel to watch.

What was bad

This is a grand old hotel badly which has been badly managed for a few years. The new management team are doing a good job. If you stay in a newly refurbished sea view room you have an excellent experience. However you may get a soon to be refurbished room. Given time this will be sorted.
