Came here with a large group ( 9 adults, 4 children & 3 babies) for our family Christmas gathering. The food was excellent, the staff were very attentive and friendly- we couldn’t fault it. Will definitely be returning. Thank you :) x 

lovely country pub & fab food! 

Lovely little cosy pub with great food and a very welcoming ambience. We had the Caribbean chicken for main which was fantastic! Prices are very reasonable and the staff were very attentive. We shall be back!

A little hidden gem!

At the end of a UK and Italy tour we asked ourselves if we had one more week in Europe where would we go and the answer was easy: Burlton Inn. Outstanding service, food, room, company. We will return!

Can't Wait To Return!

Hadn’t been to this pub for years but having heard it had been taken over, me and my Father popped in to check it out. What a wonderful experience! The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Also the atmosphere was lovely and so we decided to stay for lunch. 

Deciding what to order off the menu was tough because we wanted it all! Great menu and I also noticed the children’s options were good so I’ll definitely be taking my son there soon too. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and it was all cooked fresh so the quality was fabulous. 
Having enjoyed ourselves so much, we decided to pop back the very next day for lunch again! 
Thank you so much for a wonderful time each time we’ve visited!

Had a lovely meal here for the first time today but certainly won't be the last. Super friendly service, great food and really good value for money. If you're local or just passing through call in for lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed.

Really worth a visit

Absolutely love this little country pub. Great decor with lots of cozy nooks. Roaring fire to sit beside in the winter and of course great real ales on tap. Food always excellent and staff welcoming.  Great place to cycle to in the summer for lunch outside on the patio.

Absolute gem of a village pub/restaurant

I  was about to book this inn from a well-known hotel site, but had a few questions about our two dogs. I messaged them on their Facebook page and had an immediate and friendly response from Dawn. Two dogs allowed, and at no extra cost. It was a very reasonable price, so we booked.
We arrived quite late, and were immediately  struck by how cosy the inn was, with a roaring log burner, comfortable chairs and a good atmosphere,
We were shown to our room, which was across the courtyard, set well back from the road. The room was warm, and clean and had everything we needed for a one-night stay. The en suite was immaculately clean and had plenty of towels. 
Dawn told us about breakfast (8-9) and we booked for 8.30. We unpacked and returned to the cheery atmosphere of the pub for a nightcap, listening to a pub quiz that was taking place.
We slept well, with no noise. from the country road. The dogs were happy and settled well.
In the morning we walked over for breakfast. There was a great selection on offer (cereal, croissants, juice etc., and a menu of cooked meals, all included in the room rate.
The lady that served us was chatty and very friendly and explained that everything was purchased  fresh locally  and cooked from scratch.
Nothing was too much trouble for her, and our dogs even got a plate of sausages each.
After breakfast we went for a stroll with the dogs in the woods behind the inn. 
 It was a perfect setting. If we are in the area again, The Burlton inn will be our first choice. Outstanding service and value for money.

Magical Inn and wonderful staff.

It was minus 1 outdoors when we arrived, to find it was the same temperature in our room.  Put the radiators on full, but it seems they need bleeding. Our room was only just aired when we left. 4 poster bed, lovely but the TV's in the wrong position, obscured by the posts.  Unable to have a hot shower, due to the noise from the pipes, it would have woken the whole place. The room was clean but dated. On a high note, the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was excellently cooked by a really nice chef, ask him for poached eggs, they're perfect!

Take your sleeping bag 

We live in a village not far from here and some family wanted to come and take us out for a meal.  We recommended here as the food has always be really good.  We were not disappointed, excellent food, definitely recommend the Steak and Ale pie and the staff really friendly.  We will be back

Great food and Staff

Superb weekend break with family. Excellent accommodation at a great price and superb food. Compliments to the Chef, Dawn, Gemma and Housekeeping, all of whom went the extra mile to ensure that everyone was happy.
