My wife and I stayed from Friday the 11th of August until Monday the 14th and our stay was fantastic,  the best bed and breakfast we have been too, hosts was welcoming and very friendly. Looking forward to booking again for next year

What can I say, perfect in every way

My first holiday with my girlfriend as a couple. We went with her parents so two rooms. I'm more experienced in chain hotels and self catering cottages for holidays so went into the hotel with an open mind. I have nothing but praise for the Sunningdale, run by a friendly, lovely couple. Clean, brilliant breakfast, comfortable beds, lovely rooms, a big bath!!! (Being taller it's not often I fit in a bath!). A great location, 5 mins walk from the beach, 15 mins walk from the seafront centre attractions. Great atmosphere in the hotel, comfortable, inviting and friendly! My girlfriend and I had the cherub room, her parents the medieval room which is great for someone with a liking for all things medieval but also for D&D lovers! Cool mace on the wall! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The owners helped make our holiday one to remember. Thank you so much.

Highly recommend, romantic for couples, great for older folks. 

Lovely little hotel for a weekend away really clean in public areas as well as the room. Keith and Linda were lovely hosts asking how our days were and could help with anything. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Skegness.

Really couldn't fault this place. Keith and Linda are amazing hosts, so friendly and happy to help with anything. We had a 2 night stay for a weekend away from usual life and this was the perfect place, great location close to our venue,
Linda even laid on a seagull chorus in the mornings 😂👍 (a little joke Linda & ourselves were having)
Lovely four poster bed room we had was just the ticket for us, my partner didn’t know I booked it & she was bowled over when I opened the door, a thoroughly enjoyable weekend

Me and my wife stayed here 11 march for weekend
We had a great weekend we were made to feel very welcomed 
The room was Ideal 
The breakfast was very nice 
Would definitely stay again I would recommend this hotel to any body staying in Skegness for weekend 

My weekend at sunningdale

Warm welcome from the lovely couple whom owned the hotel, beautiful room tasty breakfast, very clean and the rest of the staff where so helpful, it’s in a great location near the beach and not a long walk to the town and amenities, so much to do in the area and me and my son didn’t want to leave.

Friendly and beautiful

a lovely  guest house in a quieter part of Skegness, ample parking, good sized rooms, tea tray, toiletries, great breakfast. Lovely hosts. Easy walking distance from station, the promenade and lots of bars and restaurants. Would stay again.

Two night break in sunny Skegness.

Just had a 3 night stay and we were very impressed lovely clean room lovely hosts and lovely breakfast..well worth the mone we had the four poster room with the bath which was very nice.if staying in Skegness give the sunningdale a try you won't be disappointed.

LOVELY

So I am sat having breakfast in a gorgeous hotel when someone asks if I had been singing.  Of course I was confused, until it was pointed out that it was raining outside. 

Such is the humour of the hosts.   In fact the happy and gentle ribbing began at the moment we arrived at this beautiful hotel. 

I have only two minor complaints, so I will get them out of the way first.  The toilet roll in the rooms wasn't very nice, and the coffee at breakfast was like hot despair. 

But that's it. These minor things don't change the fact that the room was beautiful, the hosts were friendly funny and gracious, and the breakfast was tasty. 

I loved the rooms drinks tray with the love hearts on it,  and the quirky little decorations about the hotel.  In fact the detailed and quaint decorations make this homely and comfortable. 

The beds were warm and comfortable, and all the facilities did everything you would need. 

Location is perfect too.  If you don't mind a ten minute walk across the beach, you are near the bustling, bleeps, bloops and bangs of Skegness centre.  But just up the top of the road there sits the single best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten in.   Check out San Rufo's whilst you're here,  but book ahead. 

Loved our holiday in Skegness, and it was great to have a beautiful guest house to go back to.

Don't come here if you are void of humour

Really couldn't fault this place. Keith and Linda are amazing hosts, so friendly and happy to help with anything. We had a 2 night stay for a weekend away from usual life and this was the perfect place. We had one of the newly decorated upper rooms (I think room 10), it was finished to a really good standard and was so spacious for the two of us. 

The important stuff:
Bed - super comfy, to the point that we searched for the make and model of the mattress so we could get our own
Shower - really good pressure and temperature even on the top floor
Tea/coffee - plenty in the room and more available if you ask
Parking - enough spaces on site and the road adjacent is free to park on too so never a problem

Definitely would come back and stay again!
