We stayed here as a little get away and couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming stay. The new owners have done a fab job of the refurb and made our stay perfect. Having escaped from the little ones for the weekend we loved the quietness of the rooms and I can’t forget to mention Nicolas breakfast 🍳. Highly recommend for anyone coming to visit skeg with its great parking and closeness to the main strip. We will be back!

Blooming marvellous  - 5* to the new owners

this was a weekend away with family and friends which was a party of 9, check in was nice and quick, owner sarah was a delightful down to earth lady who was right up our street, room 7 was allocated to me ,which was very spacious for a single room,my only criticism was the bed could do with a new mattress ,but this was the only thing that i would mark down , the breakfast was superb (£5) there was a burst water main on our second day ,so bottled water was supplied until the water was turned back on,all in all i would recommend the ivernia and we have booked up for next year,

family weekend away

Stayed for four nights B&B, good welcome from owner given key with metal tag that's got lock number on for bedroom, easy to see and use. Stated in a single room that was spacious, plenty of drawers and hanging space. Bed comfy, toilet and shower spotless. Small tv on wall, tea and coffee provided. WiFi was strong signal through out the hotel. You get a choice of what you want at breakfast, I omitted some items didn't want too much, there's toast with good choice of jams, pastries, cereals and fruit juice, tea or coffee. A good hotel couldn't fault it, in quiet position not far from beach, boating lake just bit farther up road town, all easy reach walk.

Good Clean Hotel

Located about fifteen minutes walk from the railway station. And probably about the same distance from the town centre. 
I received a warm welcome. 

Comfortable single room. 

Three big supermarkets near the train bus interchange all within easy reach. As are local restaurants.

Lovely hotel,got speaking to the owners very interesting people,they actually bought this hotel outwrite selling very rare antiques!very clever people,how they acquired such valubles is a mystery,saying that aint seen the male owner since thursday,told me he was off to luton and hasent been seen since!i hope the hotel hes staying in is a good as this!i also hope he has time to write a review,im sure he will have plenty of time

We booked our time away through booking.com for a 3 night stay the reviews were very good but on our arrival was told we had to pay an extra £30 for our breakfast we then was given a front door key and a code for our room on a scrap of paper we then went to our room and I first noticed the duvet cover was to small for  the duvet. We checked out the bathroom which was a nice size but no wash items ( shampoo, conditioner , soap or even a flannel ) the toilet roll was in a dispenser which you would find in public toilets. Breakfast was pre-ordered on arrival for entire stay which was not very good ( half cooked bacon , very cheap sausages ) we ordered coffee but got tea . It has a notice in rooms saying the rooms would be replenished everyday will coffee,tea,etc but that did not happen and when I went to reception to ask for some a child came out and got them for me. It advertises the rooms have been refurbished and it is a home from home stay this is untrue if my home looked like this I would not let anyone round. We left a day early as the bed was so uncomfortable ( can feel the springs and there are dips in the mattress ) we will not stay here again !!
The WiFi only works in public areas not in rooms what is the point in that ??

Disgraceful

Gary & Sarah made as extremely welcome nothing was to much trouble for them, 
breakfasts was brilliant and there knowledge of Skegness was excellent. We  would definitely recommend and stay with them again

Ivernia Hoitel

Wel what can I say. I stopped in this nice looking building but what I smelt when I walked in was a strong smell of weed. Walked up stairs to my room and it got very strong. The landlord did swear quite a bit when I was booking in. I guy walked out of the rooms as I was walking in and he looked like he was on some kind of drugs.  
The dinner room was quite large but the tables was mucky. Not sure if it was the day before breakfast.
I wouldn’t recommend if you like a nice clean hotel to relax in on your holidays.

Stoped at this hotel and there was a family up stairs. Two adult and two children. Gary the owner wanted to kick them out onto the streets. It’s only didn’t happen because is wife said no. Wife is a bit of a piss head. 
Iv got some pictures where the lounge coffee table was coved in coffee stains. And the dining room tables was mucky.

Just me

Staying  at present   this guesthouse  is is very clean and tidy,  good breakfast to start your day ,really cheerfull helpful  hosts who can't do enough  for you ,good off street carparking  ,well done to you and your staff during these  trying times your covid  methods  are first class .
