The two rooms we booked on 31st Aug 23 were ideal and very comfortable. Due to my adult son being autistic they put us next to each like if requested. My son left his beat headphones and they knew we was going butlins and they rang and texted us. They kept them safe till we picked up. Can't thankyou enough for your honesty. This was our second stay and will deffo book again. 

Excellent stay

Really enjoyed our stay here,staff very welcoming especially Esther she went the extra mile our whole stay also the breakfast is really good value it's a buffet style breakfast with lots of choices to suit everyone,room was spotless and really comfortable,we are planning a return visit 

Lovely stay

What a place the staff are excellent just wish we was stopping longer me and partner clare have really enjoyed it the staff can't do enough for you Esta was brilliant we had such a good time had a laugh and joke and we will be returning as if you want a great get away the room we had was king-size room with 4 post bed the rooms are so clean and sea view was brilliant thank you to Esta and staff thank you for such a welcome and great stay ❤️

Absolutely Brilliant Esta and staff

We booked this hotel for a few days away with our little family (two adults two children), it was a perfect hotel! The staff was lovely, very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much hassle, we was able to leave our luggage before our room was available so we was able to go out and explore and same again when we checked out so we didn’t waste any days.
Buffet was delicious and helped that kids ate for free!
The kids bunk beds and adult double bed was comfy so we all got a good night sleep.
We found the hotel price was very reasonable.
Overall amazing experience, Thankyou to all the staff at The Yellow Mountain Hotel in Skegness! X

Perfect hotel - amazing experience

What can we say? The hotel was lovely and was only made better by Esther and Sue who were extremely sweet. The breakfast was sublime and they do bacon to perfection, crispy and crunchy. Would definitely recommend x

Wonderful weekend

Booking direct and at short notice we were helped by the manager to select the best room for our money
Room 7 is a large double room with a relaxing view through the trees to the sea
Breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day and bed was comfy.
In a nice quite area but a long walk from train station..lots of parking if you are driving.
Bar and dinner facilities not available at moment but hotel next door provides both plus some entertainment.
We would stay here again but advise  booking direct and asking about room types.

Found this hotel on a last minute look, its in a great location about a 10min walk to all amenities and quiet and peaceful on the night, we had a family room which was light and airy and the beds were really comfortable, it offers a buffet breakfast and we all really enjoyed it, the two ladies that clean the rooms and also prepare breakfast were very pleasant and happy to chat, we all had a lovely time and would definitely return here again, the owner was lovely but only seen him on arrival and leaving, overall great hotel and food, can't complain     

Great location

We were supposed to be staying at the Queens Hotel near the pier and one day before we were told we are stopping here. Not sure if Booking.com were even aware.

One of our party had walking difficulties so not good being further out of town. 

We had the rooms at the front on the first floor. On the second day going in to breakfast the other residents were asking us if we had set off the fire alarm, to which we said no.
The worrying this is we never heard the fire alarm go off at all and nor did our friends in a nearby room.
We raised this with the hotel to which we had a rude reply off the owner saying that we had far too much to drink and was in such a deep sleep we could not hear the alarm. Yes we had had a couple of drinks but the cheek.

We also raised this with Booking.com who again were not interested.

The hotel is dated but our rooms were clean, cold as the radiator was not always on (but they did bring us another heater when asked)

Not Ideal

Cute little hotel on the seafront with a lovely sea view. Great walking distance to the beach and seafront and the ladies that greeted us were friendly and helpful. The hallways and carpets are in need of a refresh and the fan in the room was very dusty. But all in all fine for a short stay.
