What was good

Nothing much at all, to be honest. I will definitely not use it again.

What was bad

Most aspects of the room. In brief, the hotel is utilitarian and, as such, it was over-costly. The room (room 4) was in a very poor, dilapidated state. The reception was unmanned during parts of the day, and a notice asked patrons to use their own phones if there was a problem (because of no phone in room). Missing items included: no telephone, no shower curtains so the bathroom floor and toilet became saturated, toiletry wall fittings were empty of toiletries, Wifi reception was poor, not operating at the desk position, no electric fan in the toilet and the bathroom window would not open. Unacceptable. Dilapidation included broken jacuzzi bath fittings, broken bathroom hand mirror, severely cracked floor tiles in the bathroom, rough sealing of bath around the wall, bath plug broken, broken sash rope in bathroom sash window so it would not open, sink plug broken, window frame in bathroom was old and corroded with peeling paint, walls in bedroom were cracked and scuffed in several places, bedroom curtains would not open properly. I have photos of all these if you want to approach me. I checked in at 3.30 on 20/6/18 and left at 11.00 a.m. on 21/6/18. My initials are PR. When my hosts in Skipton asked me how the hotel was, I told them that it was dilapidated and not worth the money. You have now lost a potential source of revenue. You need to spend quite a lot of money on repairing the rooms. And no telephone! And poor wifi. Unacceptable today. And I paid £70 for this room (b&b), which I also consider unacceptable.
