Comfortable beds,clean nice smelling sheets. Lovely hosts and good breakfast.  Gave lots of local info. 
So nice and quiet for a person like me who is a light sleeper. 
Beautiful garden and good parking. 

Peaceful, clean and great hosts 

We had a  warm welcome and Paul and Christine were always ready for a chat as we left or returned. The room was clean and spacious, with ample storage space. The cottage is in a secluded situation but close to the main road for easy access. There are two pubs that serve food within walking distance and a Co-op shop in the village with a cashpoint.The prices were very reasonable and our hosts were happy to be flexible about breakfast arrangements. 
If you're looking for a base to explore the New Forest, it would be very difficult to find a better one.

We‘ve been here for 3 nights. Christine is a lovely hist who had good advice for us to explore the New Forest. The rooms are super comfy and the breakfast was really good. We loved it here, enjoyed the silence and waking up with the birds. Would definitely come back again.

Lovely Cottage in the Nature

We spent a very pleasant 4 nights at Kingswood Cottage, in spite of it being early March and less than perfect weather.  Christine and Paul were friendly, helpful and professional, the room was warm and cosy, the breakfast plentiful and delicious, the house and extensive grounds kept to a very high standard. Would highly recommend.

Lovely place, excellent hosts

We stayed at Kingswood Cottage for 2 nights and had a fabulous time! The room was spacious, spotless and very cozy. Christine and Paul were friendly and helpful and provided us with great walking trails and local knowledge. They made a 5 star breakfast with home-made jams and perfect poached eggs! Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful Stay!

We had a lovely warm welcome from Christine and  Paul,the room was charming with everything you would need, we forgot to book our breakfast but that was no trouble to rectify,breakfast you had lots of choice and cooked fresh as you arrived to your table.Plenty of parking,the grounds are kept tidy and pretty,over all the stay  was very relaxing,we would come back again for sure.

We got back from a 2 night b&b stay here and miss it already, the hosts Christine and Paul were so lovely and welcoming and the cottage and garden is beautiful. The bed was comfy and we slept very well.The room had everything you need , but the hosts were always checking if we needed anything else and were more than happy to help too. There were lots of delicious options for breakfast, definitely recommend the smoked trout , which we were lucky enough to enjoy outside in the gorgeous garden. Very good value for money, and in an excellent location. Paul was very helpful in recommending the best places to visit in the new forest for our days out. We had a perfect stay and cannot wait to come back again!

Perfect cosy stay, cannot recommend enough!

· Great location with restaurants, pubs and shops within a 5 minute walk and all the south coast to visit within half hours drive. Lovely property set in beautiful country surroundings and which had plenty of space for parking . Paul and Christine were brilliant, very friendly hosts and made us feel very welcome during our 4 night stay. We visited during the COVID-19 crisis and felt very comfortable with all the steps taken to make sure everyone was safe everything was done within the Gov rules and guide lines. Breakfast was amazing. Menu option allowed choice of healthy and not-so-healthy options tailored to what you want along with the time you want it. Christine's home made marmalade was lovely. Room was large and comfortable, very clean and very quiet. The en- suite was very modern with a good shower and a heated towel rail. Thank you very much both for making our stay so pleasant .Next time we are in Ashurst visiting our relatives we will 100 % book Kingswood again.

A Perfect Place to stay

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the kingswood cottage B and B, what a lovely place it was to stay made even better by the wonderful hosts Christine and Paul, nothing was too much trouble a real genuine couple who made our stay truly enjoyable, the breakfast was cooked fresh and was delicious plenty to choose from I will recommend the smoked trout that was delightful, the rooms are comfy and very clean as was the whole house, the gardens were beautiful and it was very peaceful just what the doctor ordered,  if you are ever stuck on what to do or how to get to a certain place then Christine and Paul will gladly help you out, thank you guys for making our stay so enjoyable

Wonderful wonderful wonderful

My partner and I stayed here for one night on our travels back home and I wish we had stayed longer. The hosts Christine and Paul were so wonderfully welcoming, the breakfast was delicious, the room was so peaceful and we had such a lovely time, even though it was short. They were very COVID 19 prepared with hand sanitiser on arrival, masks to be worn in communal areas and checkout a little earlier so they have time for deep cleaning! Such a little gem in such a beautiful area, would highly recommend!
