Came back again, and this time I had I room to the front upstairs. This is a great location close to the seaside, close to the High Street. You can cook your own meal, see your favourite programs on TV, and Adventure Island/Sealife is just about 5 min walk.

A home away from home

Unfortunately we couldn't make the booking and even though it was non refundable deal, after our explanation they refunded all the monies.

Communication was excellent and will book again when we get the time by what I can only assume to.be trusted hosts.

Sixtysix apartments gave a good value for money.
I spent 8 nights there, and it was quiet, calm, and relaxed, you can cook your own meal at home😄 And that’s very important for me.

It’s located close to the hussle along the seaside, but far away from the noise. 

I can recommend this place to everyone😄

A lovely little gem

I booked room at 8pm , go there and I was standing outside about 15min they didn’t let me in, I try to call them , and they said unfortunately couldn’t let me in , because I need to fill the form , I have no idea what the form was for , but I was really tired and didn’t have time to do that, was standing in the cold by the way.. So I had to book different hotel , won’t come back ever again !! Not recommend.

I booked this room at 8pm ( ish) the money was taken straight away by booking.com. they also took £50 deposit and then a random (£40 - I had to send over bank statements to prove this) even then they couldn't find these payments, they then took another £100 off me leaving me skint!! nearly £300 taken for a £85 room, i was left crying outside at one point as the managing company requests you to fill out loads of forms and they had issues. I never got emailed the access details or wifi. was the worse experience of my life, the rooms have been broken into as well - please see the pictures! So I could sleep well as no one on-site! -will be writing a full review on trip advisor with pictures soon. The shower was also broken! and also cold water at 4am! -UPDATE 2 weeks after check out and continuously chasing no deposit received back !! DO NOT STAY HERE

STAY AWAY WAS NEARLY LEFT ON STREETS AND THEY TOOK £300 from my acount for an £85 room - DOORS BROKE

We found this location when we needed to visit adventure island in southend on sea. This accommodation is less than a mile from adventure island, sea life, shops, high street and the seafront. For us it was really good place. It was clean and modern place to spend the hoilday. There was ensuite,  comfortable beds, towels, kettle, tea and coffee, fridge, desk and lamps and a wardrobe. It was a good place to have a rest at night and get back to the fun locations without the need of a bus or taxi. We would defintely recommend them. 

Good accommodation and perfect location

This guest house was only a 2 minute walk from main seafront which was great but there is no where to park unless you are really lucky. We did find that the main car park next to the sea life centre does not charge after 6pm - 9am the next morning which was a great find as only 2 minute walk. There are double yellow lines outside the guest house so you can drop off bags before hand. Room was adequate large bunk bed in 2nd room off the main which accommodated our tall 11 year old, worst aspect sleep wise was that there was a glass door into the shower room & no curtains in shower room so light showed through very early. No breakfast available but tea & coffee making facilities so ok for us as early start at airport. If your looking for a reasonably priced bed for the night & nothing else it is adequate.

Basic but adequate

Great location and basic place but for the price there is nothing you can say.  It was clean, we were nicely welcomed and the bed was comfortable.  The bathroom was good too.  Toilets were a bit loud but not an issue really.  I would come back.

Good for the price

If you are looking for a central base, this is perfect. On street parking is reasonably easy to find.

The breakfast is basic but fine, not cooked but delivered to your room on a tray.

The room was large and well appointed.

Great location, very convenient 

Spent just one night here as my husband, son and I came up for a football game.  Lovely clean, comfortable accommodation in an excellent location (literally 2 mins to the seafront on foot).  Free on street parking was easy to find too, despite it being a very sunny half term holiday period.
