Great location, lovely practical rooms. The manager is beyond helpful, always smiling. Lovely atmosphere. I would gladly stay again. Great prices. The b&b is always clean, good WiFi and other facilities.

Southend guest house was practical and outstanding.

Stayed here for a week as I was working in Southend. Absolutely loved it, comfortable bed, upgraded room as it was a long term stay and the staff where extremely helpful allowing me extra time in the morning due to me suffering with insomnia. Highly recommended!! 

Brilliant

Guest House situated in a very convenient location, few minutes walk from Westcliff Station, C2C train line.

Very high standards of cleanliness.  Generous sized accommodation. Comfortable beds.  Friendly, helpful staff on reception. 

Close to entertainment venues - Southend Theatres - Cliffs Pavilion & The Palace Theatre.   Highly recommended.

As someone who often works in Southend it's important that I get a good nights rest. This is a no hassles, enjoy your stay kind of place. The staff are competent, the rooms are clean, and the bedding is comfy. Couldn't as for more at this price point.

A good nights rest

Nice but funny place to stay when you make your visit regular. You are then seen as a Superstar if you visit often to the extent that you will be kept outside for long when you arrive to check-in. In most cases the attendant invites whole lot of friends and family to witness your visit as to make you look like you are a VIP. So crazy attitude. Forgive my language.

What a dive. 
Kitchen is filthy, it stinks, 2 fridge freezers one you can’t use the other Is full of out of date food.

Not allowed to use the cooker as it’s a gas one and has been condemned due to lack of insurance. 

1microwave for 18 rooms with around 25 people. 

It’s basically a bed sit house share with your own shower and toilet even then it hadn’t been cleaned. Bag changed in the bin but the bin wasn’t clean inside. The toilet had poo at the back of it.

Every time I went outside for a smoke I’d get asked if I had any spare.

Sleep was rubbish due to the noise of all the other people staying and paper thin walls you can here burps farts snoring 

Room size was ok bed was comfy. Glad it was only for one night. Will never stay here again. 

Turns out the local councils use it for degenerates
