Really enjoyed our stay here the staff were amazing! The young guy is fantastic. Warm welcome from him. Always smiling and couldn’t do enough, carried my bags up the stairs as no lift! Nothing was to much trouble. Will definitely return. The rooms do need a make over a looking tired. Thank you.

Excellent service will return

Right from booking us in at the reception desk, David was informative, helpful and friendly.
 When I inadvertently left my gloves in my checked out room,David ran up to get them for me..what a star❤️
  He told us about local eateries, and checked that we had parked conveniently close to our room….he is a very good ambassador for premier…..

Superb service

Lovely clean room with a superb bed at great value. A rare find at a time when hotel prices are through the roof but quality is typically not raised to reflect them. Staff were friendly and cooked breakfast was good quality. Will be staying again when I'm in the area. 

Great Quality at Great Value

This Premier Inn was perfect for what we needed - somewhere to rest our head after going out on New Year. Reasonably priced and did what it said on the tin. Fabulous welcome from the lady on reception. 

The building is pretty tired and shaky. Our room was fine and standard for PI but the sink didn’t drain properly which was a shame. There were no hash browns available at breakfast (which I had read about before but assumed it was a one off) but it was very well organised compared to other Premier Inns we have stayed in.

When you need a bed

OK, usual premier inn. Plenty of parking although car park is strange layout with parking behind main building or down towards the rusty cutter, no good if raining. Rusty cutter gets busy and can be fully booked.

Apart from being built on a steep hill with very little parking actually at the hotel, the it came up to what I expected of a Premier Inn. The room was clean, warm and the bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. I ate in the adjacent Rusty Cutter and had a very acceptable meal both in the evening and at breakfast. The only jarring thing was the music which at 8.00am was a succession of wailing singers when I would have preferred something more soothing and better still silence. 
That apart the hotel is pleasent and one that I will use again,  have done so for about twelve years.

It lived up to expectations

The location and staff at this hotel were just as required. However the room had a rather musty smell as if someone had vaped or smoked in their previously. As well as this waking up to no hot water really wasn’t the one

Usual good standard of cleanliness. Nice quiet room at the back with no noise from the A3.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Sam on reception. We had arrived early as we were going to a funeral and needed to change etc. They don't have an early check in policy but Sam phoned through to housekeeping, who said our room was ready. we were very appreciative of that.
We don't eat dinner in the Beefeater next door, because we don't like their menu and have had bad experiences with other Beefeater's in the past.

Ideal for a night stopover Good customer service.

Had a one night stay here in late October. The staff were professional and friendly, the room was clean and very comfortable.  Lots of parking.  the breakfast was all you can eat for a tenner and was all very plentiful.
I would definitely recommend and will return later this year.

Great Overnighter

Friendly helpful staff from the minute we arrived, nothing was too much trouble.
Usual excellent Premier value and a clean comfortable hotel 
Beefeater restaurant was directly opposite for breakfast and dinner if required
