Had a very enjoyable stay here on our first stop as we embarked on the Great Glen Way. The hosts were very welcoming and kindly collected us from Gairlochy as planned. Rooms were modern, comfortable and exceptionally clean. Nice little local touches in the room too, such as regional soaps/shower gel. 

Breakfast was also excellent. I am quite fussy with coffee in general but here it was very good, no need to worry.

Excellent B&B - don't hesitate to book

We spent a very comfortable night at the Coire Glas Guest House during our hike of the Great Glen Way.  Our room was spacious and clean, the house itself was lovely and breakfast was good.  Simon was a very helpful host who kindly drove us back to the trail the next day.

Comfortable, cheerful guest house

Simon and Morven are fabulous hosts.  They clearly go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and welcoming.  The breakfasts are fresh, and the choice is fantastic. Bedrooms are spotless as is the lounge and breakfast room.  We booked 5 rooms for our large family and another at the very last minute.  Morven was super accommodating to fit us all in.  We had the fastest check in with Simon as we had a taxi waiting.  He was so patient and explained everything to us at super speed!  Lastly, we met Morvens Dad - What a lovely gentleman with a brilliant outlook on life.    Whoever stays here and offers less than 5 ⭐️ needs to take a reality check.  Thanks again for your hospitality.  

Fabulous stay 

A fantastic place to stay, Simon and Morven are terrific hosts. Booked local restaurant for our second night. Lovely room, the Breakfasts were superb. Definitely recommend and would return in the future. Lee & Sue

Lovely

Spent two days with Simon and Morven while hiking the Great Glen Way. They went out of their way to accommodate us: setting up dinner reservations ahead of our stay and providing transportation to and from the trails. Nice setting a short distance from town, comfortable beds, and great breakfast.

We loved staying here - even though it was just for one night. Wishing we could have extended our time in the area just so that we could have stayed longer at Coire Glas. Simon & Morven are wonderful. Even though we're pretty sure the B&B was 100% booked, it was VERY quiet there - so peaceful. 

The best part was sitting out on the back patio after dinner. It was a cool, slightly drizzly evening, but we hauled out the ginormous (and very soft) blankets provided in the room - and got cozy on a bench out back. The perfect place to sip hot cocoa or a glass of wine, read your book, and take in the lush surroundings! Simon even joined us outside for a brief chat which we really enjoyed.

Breakfast was wonderful - I opted for cereal, scrambled eggs & smoked salmon on toast, coffee, and orange juice. The perfect amount of food to keep us going through the morning's activities.

Morven is the one who checked us in, and she was very kind about providing local restaurant recommendations in the Spean Bridge area. She'll even try to make a reservation for you if possible! But - we opted for lochside dining on Loch Lochy at the Lochside Brasserie (located in the Whispering Pine Lodge, about a 20-minute drive from Coire Glas). Highly recommend it especially if you luck out on sunny weather - they have a phenomenal deck RIGHT on the loch.

Cozy B&B Experience!

A very pleasant stay at this delightful privately run B&B, which is homely, comfortable and well run, with an amazing outlook towards Ben Nevis.  Morven and Simon, the proprietors gave us a warm welcome and were very helpful throughout our stay.  Our bedroom was small but comfortable, clean and well stocked with all essential requisites.  There is also a spacious lounge area with various comfy chairs and tables for the use of guests to relax in, as well as a lovely patio and garden area.  

We were asked our menu choices for breakfast the evening before and to choose our preferred time slot, as Morven and Simon like to ensure that the breakfast timings are staggered to ensure that guests are served in a timely manner and that no-one feels rushed.  The food was well prepared and nicely presented, with good-sized portions.  We would certainly recommend a stay at Coire Glas.

A comfortable stay in a lovely location

A short driveway leads to a comfortable indoor car park. Here we are welcomed by Simon who welcomes us into the facility and meticulously illustrates the services he offers together with Morven. Our room is a quadruple, so it is very large and well lit thanks to four large windows. The room furnishings are pleasant and functional. The bed is large and quite comfortable. In the room there is also the indispensable set for coffee and tea, with a boiler. The bathroom is large and practical. The shower is also spacious and equipped with a toilet and, pleasantly, with its own breathing.

Excellent organization and beautiful structure

Very nice, friendly host with a lot of humor. Beautiful functional and very clean room with a beautiful mountain view. The hosts had offered us a few days before we arrived to book a restaurant for the evening, good initiative. Very good quality breakfast. Only a little beemol reads a little too soft but very satisfied with the stay.

Our stay at the Coire Glass Guest House was the most extraordinary of the whole trip. Simon and Morven were incredibly friendly hosts and welcomed us very warmly. The room was beautifully furnished and cozy, as well as having its own bathroom. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was the absolute highlight of our trip: Scottish breakfast with everything in it... Porridge (the best we've ever tasted!), toast, haggis, bacon, eggs, beans, etc. We also have many tips for restaurants in the evening or sightseeing destinations nearby. We can go further and come to the point of no return, not just for one night!
