We came across the royal yacht after several attempts at getting food elsewhere, even though they were full Mimi the security guard was extremely understanding and told us about the grill where Victor was extremely accomodating and very knowledgeable. It was nice to see our stakes cooked to perfection right before our eyes.

All out fantastic experience, will be returning!

Fantastic hotel and the staff were outstanding, they even laundered my socks when they got wet in the rain. They definitely go above and beyond normal service. Really charming place. Would definitely recommend. Also a short 15 minute walk downhill to the coast.

Wedding trip

Warm family run hotel, excellent breakfast and dinner and outstanding service from all the staff.

Great for families as they have an outdoor pool and very close to one of the best beaches on the island.

Rooms are spotless and comfortable

Spectacular views over St Brélade bay

Having stayed 3 times before we were nervous about the standards under the new management. Nothing to worry about the service and food are both better. It was nice to be welcomed by Alison on reception but all the staff were helpful and provided outstanding service. Vlad the restaurant manager (great character) ensured that everything was just as we wanted it. We asked for green tea on the first day and after that it arrived on our table every morning when we sat down without us asking. 
The Hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. We had evening meals every day and could see no reason to go elswhere.
We always ask for a south facing room so that we can look out over St. Brelades Bay. The hotel is close to good bus routes, has plenty of parking and is within walking distance of the beach but set back far enough from the main road so that traffic noise is not a problem.
We hope to return again next year

Under New Management, with better service and food

I have just stayed at the Miramar.  The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We just had bed and breakfast which was well cooked,plenty of choices in a light airy dining room overlooking the pool and lovely garden. Overall I would definitely stay here again, it probably deserves a three star rating.

Good hotel in a great location handy for the beach and the local bus service.

Loved the hotel,deserves more stars, Alison and the restaurant manager ( sorry I forgot his name) were fantastic really made our break. Will definitely return, thankyou for a pleasurable stay.  Every one was  very helpful and obliging, I have stayed in worse so called 4 stars

Fabulous

Returning for the third year running, as a party of two mums with teenage son’s, we had a marvellous time. Alison was here to welcome us, which we look forward to, and a new member of staff to us, Ingrid who we also came to appreciate. A mark of the hotels charm, are a huge number of repeat guests, who everyone enjoys catching up with year on year, and particularly makes the hotel a very special place indeed. 
The staff are excellent without exception, and are valued by us greatly, and the rooms and public areas remain a delight. This really is a superb spot, and should be protected for years to come!
Jersey ticks boxes for all ages, and provides excellent holidays for everyone, without hands having to be in pockets all the time...We are returning to the Miramar and Jersey next summer.

Another fabulous stay

We were in Jersey for a long weekend with some friends and booked two rooms at the Hotel Miramar, as we were doing some watersports activities in St Brelade's Bay and the price seemed more reasonable than other hotels in the area. It was a fantastic hotel, in a rather traditional style , but we loved our stay. From the moment I called to make a booking, the staff were friendly and helpful and it was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds in a quiet position above the bay.  Breakfasts were great and the staff remembrred my decaffeinated tea every day!  The pool area was a plus, as it was very hot, and was also spotlessly clean with plenty of loungers. Not a huge pool but fine for a swim after a day's sightseeing. We didnt eat in the hotel apart from breakfast as there were loads of places in St Helier and St Brelade but we had drinks in the bar and on the sunny terrace.   We had sea facing rooms with views of the bay, which I'd reccomend. Staff were super efficient at cleaning rooms. There is a bus stop near the hotel so getting around is no problem but we had hired a car and there was a free car park.  The walk back from St Brelades Bay was a bit steep but good for us after an evening out! There was a lot to do and see on the island and we are thinkingnof going back for another visit. Would deginutely stay here again.

Lovely place - exceeded all expectations

above all the staff provide a first class service, especially Ingrid who's dedicated to ensuring guests are contented. This ensures a positive attitude throughout the hotel. Extremely clean and comfortable rooms. There is a gorgeous quiet pool with loungers and loungers in the garden too. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the terrace in the sunshine with the sea view, while Ingrid brought us coffee.  A short stroll to St Brelades Bay, or to the bus stop which connects the Airport to St Helier.

friendly welcome, excellent location

Could not fault a thing. A lovely old fashioned seaside hotel. Rooms are a little dated decor wise but very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating nothing is too much trouble. Food is very good value. A real gem of a hotel
