Great value for money. Comfortable bed. Clean facilities. Dated bathroom and decor but who cares, I'd rather that than pay in excess of £100 per night elsewhere on the island. The ladies work hard, as you can check in any time after 11.30am I believe, so that must be a long day for the owners. 10 to 15 min walk to St helier main central bus station. Close to beach.

Very friendly.clean & comfortable cosy place to reside,we have stayed here copious times .in fact it's the only place we do reside when visiting Jersey ...we visit @ least 4/5 visits a year .breakfast is superb.fresh locally sourced food.fresh juice ,cooked breakfast they really cater for your everyday needs....Top Quality & great value...the cleaning is immaculate, replenished rooms Daily soft pillows,extra bedding & fluffy towels .the WiFi is up/ down but overall it's welcoming.friendky & peacfull.evetything is a stone throw away we absolutely love the floral displays,they really make up for everything else .Paula the manager & her team are professional ,polite easy to approach they really go above & beyond thankyou here are photos I took of the thalatta guest house .in July we will be back Paul & Jim  St Alban's ...

Outstanding guest house...

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Must be the best priced accommodation on the island.
Exceptionally good value for money is provided by this modest hostelry. 
The roomy, bright and airy, accommodation is clean and surprisingly comfortable. 
The breakfast served comes with an impressive choice, coffee is excellent (not always the case with smaller establishments like this).  The customer service was friendly, helpful and accessible. I booked directly with the Manageress by phone thus avoiding extra booking dot com commissions. 
The guest house is conveniently located being just five minutes walk from the town centre and bus station; there are various good standard restaurants and convenience stores in close proximity. Then there's the stunning sandy beaches less than 100 metres away. No wonder Thalatta scores 5/5 in all categories.  My other piece of advice would be to rely on the superb bus service to and from the airport. 
Two pounds instead of twenty-one works for me!

Easily, the best value-for-money accommodation on the island of Jersey!

The beds were very comfortable and the location is an easy walk to the center of St Helier. The English breakfast was plentiful and straight from the kitchen. The front garden in the street is very colour fun and adds to the appeal. It is easy to see why people return for another visit.

very nice people nice fresh breakfast cooked look out front door and there down road a bit the beach and swimming pool and nice little cafes on sea front walking in either way RECOMENDED 10/10 nice if you have kids that like beach so not far to walk them there injoy the pool there too

This is the  third stay here and it just gets better, great value for money,made very welcome, the breakfast is second to none just sets you up for the day. Excellent location within easy walking distance to town or just enjoy the local area. Great place.

Short break

A quiet, comfortable night, the staff are absolutely lovely and very kindly let us leave our bags for a few hours after checkout so we could have a walk around a boiling hot St Helier without having to lug them around with us. Very nice breakfast too.

Lovely

We arrived and decided to return later as we had a friend to visit. The car park was the only disadvantage in my opinion. The madeiran lady gave us complimentary bread on two occasions. Lovely friendly service, clean rooms with tea and coffee tray. I would have preferred a room on the first floor as too many steps for me but Lovely when we got up there. The bathroom was tiny but for the price it was great value for money. Breakfast on both days was good but please get some mushrooms. Overall a good stay and we would certainly come again when we next visit Jersey. Thank you to the ladies who work so hard to provide a beautifully clean and welcoming place.

Lovely family run guest house. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Good size rooms and daily house keeping. Beds very comfortable. 
Lovely cooked breakfast every morning. 
Close to the beach ideal for families and a 15 minute or so walk to the centre of St Helier.
